I remember going to the movies to watch Wreck-It Ralph and this played during the previews. It was the first and only time in my life where the entire theater was completely silent outside of the actual featured movie. Every single person there was wholly engrossed in this short film. And when it ended, everyone gave it a standing ovation. What a masterpiece.
Why is there the scratchy background noise from 3.00 onwards, when there is none in the original clip? It annoys me because I genuinely love this piece of music.
+Navah Weiss (NavNav) When I was watching this with my wife (then my girlfriend) "manly tears" went all through my face... It described too perfectly the way our relation began and just how from that moment we saw for the first time we knew we were destined to be together.
So cool that Disney cut the artists that actually did the music out of the Film so now all you get to hear is the music without the animation...Disney ..Pay what is owed..it will never be complete until you do... How Lame is that anyway....Some people out here still know.
+toxicwar Ah! Welcome fellow comrade! I'm glad to see someone gets my reference. Have a good day! And don't forget to spread the gloriousness of Matsu-sensei.

Hearing this theme in Free Guy brings back good memories.
I remember this sounding absolutely incredible at the theater. From 3:33 onwards my tears simply overflowed.
+Raccoon Child Same here... Manly tears all over my face...
God damn, this music.
"Go, you foolish boy! Don't let this opportunity slip away!"
StrunDoNhor absolutely agree! Whenever i see the ending part i hear the planes say, "Come on! Fate has spoken! You're meeting that woman today"
This is probably my favorite Disney short, because it shows you don’t need dialogue you just need charming visuals and a good score to tell a story
This music just reminds me of how lonley i really am. Thanks for the feels.
I listened to this last night. 4 damn times. And cried like a baby.
Christophe Beck is a genius!
Sounds so much like "Elsa and Anna" from the Frozen soundtrack. Makes sense, since Christophe Beck composed them both.
it really so much sense!
This is the most adorable theme I've ever heard ^-^
can't describe the feeling
This music reminds me for Finding Nemo, not sure if it's the same people but I can listen to this song all day.

Buddhi1710 I think this is the sound of the paper planes clashing onto the guy from what I remember.
It's just part of the percussion

+Navah Weiss (NavNav) my brother was crying before the film even started

This may be a rather unpopular opinion, but I think that the man looks very much like John Krasinski when he played Jim on "The Office." 😂
