I've often said that St. Louis is one of the most underestimated cities. It really is a BEAUTIFUL place! I'm in St. Louis often as I live very close, and I love it there.
i now live in ohio but my dad grew up in the city and I was there more often than not. I get extremely homesick for home and this literally brought tears to my eyes. thank you so much
Don't listen to the haters. This is so awesome, makes me want to visit St. Louis! This is also the exact kind of videos I want to make, when I get a better camera. Thanks for the inspiration
I had watched this video a long time ago, but had completely forgotten about it. Upon watching this again, I am once again blown away with how well this represents the beautiful city that I love. Great job!
I love this video. It's so nice to see our city in a positive light. I especially love the clips of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. Perhaps some of Scottrade Center, Union Station, and more STL skyline. Keep up the great work!
I LOVE my hometown and although I've been gone for 9 years this video was a great reminder of what I do miss about it. The beauty! Thank you for this video!
Great job, Anastasis Films. I read about this in the 9/16 Post-Dispatch and just had to check it out. One overall feeling I get from it is that St. Louis is a city for all ages - from kids to young singles to parents to middle-agers to retirees. Something cool for everybody. And I love the song.
Both the positive and negative comments are kind of on target. On the negative side, the bad areas really are more numerous and are really VERY different from those of, say, New York. Most cities are poor neighborhoods- but very few have neighborhoods with as many vacant lots as St. Louis and other depressed Rust Belt cities. And no big city has lost as much population as St. Louis. And only in the hardest-pressed cities are the hipster-y intown neighborhoods in the suburbs (as is true of St. Louis's Delmar Loop). On the other hand, the city still has some really, really nice places- St. Louis Hills, for example, and parts of the Central West End. The best of St. Louis City is really very attractive indeed.
You guys did a good job of visually showcasing the city, but why the decision to use music from a CHICAGO band? There are tons of amazing local bands whose music you could have utilized. Seems to water down the integrity of your overall message.
Huh?! How does a city 'look' at anything? Oh I see what you did there... you mistakenly left out a conjunction. What city are you from? I definitely do not want to raise my kids there. :-) I kid... I kid.

Very nice! Q:- is there a way to see more? I imagine a lot of the vid got "cut" so to speak, to keep the size and time down.
Thanks!
Well done :)

St. Louis looks an excellent place to gain weight.
