Hey Mickey thanks so much for the video. I'm JUST reading your comment about "vacation" caused by depression and burnout. Hopefully you're feeling better. Thailand is the first country I visited during a very painful time in my life. I was almost instantly healed. Fell in love with the country. Take care and I look forward to more of your stuff. God bless.
Hi Rob! Yes, that's right, I needed some personal time due to the depression and burnout. It's been a pretty busy year that I've spent developing this channel and riding across the country, and eventually my body and brain demanded to make a pause to recover. in 2021 Thailand didn't look like Thailand we all know (just like any other country of the world, due to this crazy pandemic), but hopefully things get better in 2022
@@MickeyStotch You know... COVID never scared me. The psychological effects of how the world handled the pandemic is what terrifies me. Suicide rates going up. So many people loosing their mind. Depression is up. People are angry and miserable. I really DO believe things will get better but hopefully it's sooner than later. Please take care of yourself and always put yourself number one.
I felt the same way when I visited. I only went for a few weeks but I instantly felt connected to the people and the country as a whole. For being a relatively poor country, the people seem super happy and joyous.
So refreshing to see a Thailand vlogger / traveler who can communicate in Thai language with the locals... Compare that with the western vlogger "experts" who cannot pronounce correctly "Pattaya" after living there for 10 years 🤣🤣🤣
Actually some words are pronounced differently in english depending on the specific region the person originates from, this is usually based on how and where they breakdown the syallables of the word from. Yes, Thai people may say it a certain way and you should state it that way but some people learn it originally from reading it the first time in english the way stated above.
I hate seeing comments like this in videos like this. You can be fluent in a language and not pronounce it properly. Even if someone didn't, why should it matter to you if they're perfectly fine with it.
Drive through this Ratchada 36 alley almost everyday and I've got to admit that this alley has a lot of food options including street food. Quite easy to live around here.
Good to see u again Mickey, good place to stay in Bangkok , I've been there once a few days tho, with hotel reservation rate , drink free coffee at the robby at the morning, quite good services anyway , close to Plaza Lagoon and shopping mall
Hello Mr. Motorbike Tour and Hungry adventures, So glad you come back to presenting a great video to everyone, Hope you are staying safe and healthy Man.
That's really cool and cheap apartment you got there. Once I had a nice newly build house in Vietnam for $150 a month. I guess in Thailand you can find good and not over priced places to live. Another cool video. Keep it going.
So crazy. I stayed at an apartment like this for 1 month, it looked just like this but was near Nonthaburi where my friend lived. It was well worth the stay because it was right near the train.
3:58 I am never a morning either but I love to watch both sunrise and sunset so I work at night till dawn. See the sunrise ☀️ then go to bed and wake up around 2 pm and see the sunset ⛅️ . 🥰 Ps. Your HA tee looks so good!!!
If you don't have much business in the town, I suggest finding the apartment on Ratchaphruek Road. The living cost is cheaper and the west side of Bangkok has less manufactory and more green.
I'm always waiting you to come and take vdo for a long times to be honest I'm so excited to see you again🤩 and I always support your channel from now on^^
So true about barber-salons. I find that women hair “stylists” cannot cut my hair as good as a man hair stylist and it seems the younger barbers are more aware what I want than the older barbers ( and I am “old” also). Yes, best to go to a salon that is busy but the hair salons at the malls are overpriced because of the rent they pay. Many of these “neighborhood” barber / hair salon shops are owned / rented by the fellow who is cutting your hair.
Something like this in California would he easily like 1450 a month this absolutely beautiful and I would take this any day planning my move to Thailand as we speak Thankyou for this

I'll try to explain, why some place they charge the electricity's bill. Because in Thailand apartment and condominium are not the same. Condominium they have their own house number for each room that mean your electricity bill came straight from government but apartment have the only one house number which is belong to the owner of the building. Due to the policy of the government that they want you to save the electricity, more electricity that you use a month the more bill you pay ( I don't remember the rate ). So that why apartment in Thailand have to charge the electricity bill, like my apartment have 50+ rooms maybe that my apartment use power 5000 unit a month(*4.5 Government rate) is 22500 bath, but I actually pay like 50-80% more cause the government considered my apartment is wasted of electricity.
