Is it weird that I spent a lot of my youth in the 80s watching this movie over and over?? One of my favorites 💖
No. Lol My mom made me watch it when I was around 8 in 86'. I wore out her VHS tape of it. I loved it and I'm not a fan of musicals but the story was awesome.
BEST movie Debbie ever made...pure Debbie no doubt about it. she KNEW how to give it all on screen holding nothing back ...to please an audience and to please the doggone Hollywood Directors and Producers. Debbie WAS the Unsinkable Molly brown!
America lost two amazing women this week: Debbie Reynolds and her unsinkable daughter, Carrie Fisher.
Jonny Brown: *singing* I’ll never say no to you
Molly Brown: Do you want to come with me on RMS Titanic?
Jonny Brown: No.
Every time I see this movie, it makes me cry
The Unsinkable Debbie Reynolds--there's a new star in the heaven's tonight--(2--with daughter Carrie)--Miss you both--thanks for the memories!!
Our Country needs these Great Movies to Be a True North ,how Wonderful people & Great Art show the way.❤

Fun fact : a year after the original musical came out , Astronaut Gus Grissom decided to name is Gemini space craft “ the unsinkable Molly Brown “ but NASA said discouraged this so he named it the titanic to clinch the deal .
Great movie and the Great Debbie Reynolds in her Best Role Ever ~
Should have WON the Best Actress Oscar in my opinion ( she was nominated against other great performances that year including the winner , Julie Andrews for Mary Poppins ~ however , it Debbie Reynolds who was EXCELLENT in this great musical ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mega wow!!!
when i moved to denver in 2017, and mom came to visit, we went to the molly brown house, her house, 2 blocks from our capital building, its a museum, its awesome, if you ever come to denver, id highly recommend the tour, also, her name wasnt molly, it was Margaret, always a fun fact
Carrie Fischer’s mom!!!!! Love this movie!
Watched this with my G ma all the time. Didn’t know that she was the grandma in Halloween town all these years, right over my head. Also have been sleeping under a rock, because I didn’t know that her name was Debbie and has passed on already.
She's also mom to Carrie Fisher, Princess Leia on Star Wars. They died within 3 days of each other.
I cannot BEEEEEE LEEEEEVE! ive N
EVER!! even HERD of this movie LETTA LONE SEEEEN it!
Have You?
When Judy Garland couldn't do/or was fired from Annie Get Your Gun they should have considered Debbie Reynolds. She would have been fabulous!
We love you all
May have to get this on dvd.
Yeow belly up ♥️♥️ love it 😍
He did say no & left her out of the will ! After they separated for 15 years . But she did get 24K a month in 1910 . On hearing that his wife survived the Titanic JJ said of course the nasty B did > True love & true story ;)
@@cagney1st Its part of her real life ! If you are going to tell the life of someone then do tell it correctly ! Sorry but as Jack Nicholson one said you can't handle the truth . If they did a story on your life you would not want it told what really happened ? I think you are wearing rose colored glasses my friend !!!
Another surprising fact about the real Molly Brown: she was a high school graduate at a time when few girls were.
if he refers to women like that then maybe it was better she divorced him.
~ That sure looked like Skagway to me.. but I suppose they all started out the same. Literally Life CHANGING movie for me ~ 2X. (Do you remember Debbie when seeing Kathy Bates play Molly Brown in “Titanic”?)
I'm bummed they cut Mollys song My Brass Bed. My only fault with this great musical.
Is Titanic in 1964
