Hey what's your technique of flat colouring like how do you fill the outlines in the initial stages
Hi Ashish! Let me see if I understood, maybe there are two things that I can help you:
1 - I try to "close" the shape that I drew, then I create a rectangle bigger than the mentioned shape. So I select everything e click "Divide" on Pathfinder
2 - This is not a regular Paint Brush, this is a Blob Brush (which makes your tracing as SHAPE and not as STROKE)

Hey @Fernando, since you use the blob tool to create your main lines, and the blob tool lines are kind of shaky, not even or smooth, how do you smooth them out? If at all. I think the wavy lines give it a cool illustration type look, but you must have a method to decrease the waviness for some parts of your design, right? Thanks in advance! I love your art!
Thank you Shah! Since I create wavy lines on blob brush, I couldn't make it smoothier anymore. I like that and this makes my style.

Double click on brush or blob brush icon, set "Fidelity" as "Accurate".

I try to do jobs like that but having no graphics tablet and doing it with the mouse complicates me
Hi Sanji-san! It is hard to draw like this with mouse. I will try to figure it out how we can create brushes that simulates this one, in order to help illustrators who use mouse.
By the way, graphic tablet is not that much expensive, you can get one basic and try it out. It worths a lot, it is an investment!

What kind of brush you used for inking the lines? Sick art by the way!
My Illustrations are made from simple calligraphic brushes from Adobe Illustrator. My dynamic outline style look like automatic, but it is not. Actually this is my skill for outlining, which I press heavy to get a bolder stroke and press soft to have a thin stroke. But I created a Brush Pack that simulate my technique. gumroad.com/l/irregularbrush You don't need to press light or press heavy to make your irregular outline. I created every single brush in order to help you to save energy and time. You don't even need a drawing tablet to do that =).

It is hard to say what kind of style is, I would name "the way I felt comfortable and happy to draw"... Hehe, I think I have made my own style. Everyone can do this, It is very particular for each person, each artist. Everyone has a particular characteristic inside itself. All the exclusive things are made from references, even the references were made from another references and so. This is how we innovate. I'm not talking only about another artists, but everything around you could be your reference and inspiration. By the way, if you're feeling happy and inspirated with this kind of style, just stay tuned on my channel, I will be posting more content not only speed arts. :)

What kind of brush do you use?
Default calligraphic blob brush. The thick and thin aspect is just the software respecting my hand pressure. You need a tablet with pen pressure sensor for this.
Angle 0 - Fixed
Roundness 100% - Fixed
Size 2 - PRESSURE - variation 2
So this was photo shop or illustrator?
