I went to the motorcycle shop the other day to look at the Honda ruckus and yamaha zuma offroad mopeds and they were about $2500 and up. dual sport motorcycles were all over $6000 and up. I think it's not priced too bad. have you seen the price of a downhill mountain bike? they cost thousands of dollars with no motor.
Thank for the reply,I just based it against a 4 stroke dirt bike in a crap hit the fan scenario or one of those kits with motors for mountain bikes.I guess that could be in between.
+gary smallwood I agree with you a cheap dirt bike would be faster in a shtf event for sure. I think this is more of a marketing bike for the company. but then again if you want to move stealthy through some areas of the back woods pedal power might be a legit feature for survival?
but the added perks is that you aren't stuck on the road with this vehicle, you could also go on the sidewalk and avoid traffic jams. and teh MPG is actually pretty high, if you fill the tank and bring along the two canisters you won't even need to go for another fill till after about 400 miles.

I read some reviews on this bike, and Its a piece of junk.
