There are systems that do not require you to get out of the cab but as you say, its very hard not to introduce dirt into the system that way. I remember the bad old days having to sledgehammer greasy heavy pins out to change a bucket. At quickest it took 15 mins.

It is amazing when you consider that previously the operator would have taken five minutes and required tools to do the same change over, not to mention the spilt hydraulic oil. Yes, it would be nice to never have to leave the cab and the quick change unit makes a very big difference, and sure beats knocking pins in and out with a sledge hammer, but hoses still need to be connected without introducing dirt to the system.

But how do you prevent dust from gathering at the end of the connections? I always like to wipe the dust and dirt of the end of the connections first. That's the downside of what you're talking about.

The whole point of the operation was to demo the bucket attachments not the blade.

Hi guys, does anyone know what the brand and make of the hydraulic quick couplers are on this machine? I realise that this expo was in Germany but would the quick couplers be available in Australia? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Purchased a powertilt from exac-1 in january for my tb 228 .wouldnt be without it. makes my takeuchi a far more versatile machine, less bucket changes , less tracking ,less mess,= less fuel and engine hours.
A lot of the work i do is in confined areas so the powertilt comes into its own.
Oh and using a reverse bucket can be kinder to the machine specialy when working with materials such as large rocks, and with a powertilt gradings realy fast no matter what angle the machine is sitting.a level finish every time so the blade isnt the answer to grading as some are suggesting.

First Mini I bought in 1987 was a Takuchi TB 15, new to Canada at that time.

Engcon EC-Oil and you never have to leave the cab for changing tools.

Where is the amazing attachment?? Tilting coupler is standard equipment. Better solution is Rototilt

I love my kubota 040 and loved the 080 I had 3 months last year. However I am ready to dump kubota. I just bought a new svl95 and something is off with the quick attach/bucket, when down pressure is on the front edge of bucket, the pins are almost all the way out. When pressure released I hear the bucket click back into its normal position. I'm seeing weird wear on attachments and coupler with 85hrs on it. The dealer is saying its normal. My l6060 tractor which is a superb tractor to be in has been in shop for a month on a recall and because everyone with new grand L with hydro static with 2x3 range is having same work done with tranny they can't lend me a machine to use. Love all the machines, but may go for the biggest baddest service/dealer support going forward idk. I bleed orange and just want Bota to take care of me. 🤷‍♂️

Why didn't he use his blade tobdoball that leaveling? It would have been a lot fast, then playing around with the bucket.

Put the planetary before the knuckle and you have a real machine 👍🏽

  • @digger321b

Why would he use the bucket backwards, all that does is wear on the rams and pins, because the machine is not built to be use that way.

I hear you but not really. I don't see any more force than bucket un curled and pushing material out and away from the machine.

Its not very amazing if you need to leave the cab to connect the attachment.
