I am SO excited that theyre sticking to the Friesian breed standards this time around. I loved it when the very first Friesians were released and only came in shades of black. I also appreciate the Jorvik Friesian tbh, as it's own breed.
Friesians do come in more than black, though. They can come in chestnut and the extremely rare bay. I've even heard of flaxen Friesians with pedegree to back them.
Though bay Friesians are faulted or outright denied studbook registration even when they can prove pedegree.
@@mochimacaroon400 I know they come in chestnut. I've heard of the other oddities as well but I'm specifically referring to horses within the accepted breed standard. And I was referring to the Gen 1 Friesians in SSO, which only came in black (there were only three total). I'm glad the new model comes in a couple of different shades of chestnut, I would have been disappointed if they didn't. I wonder which of the six coats will have stars though.

I dont think they should refund for Jorvik friesians. People bought them knowing what they looked like, their animations, and their coats. The whole time they weren't true friesians and they made it known that they were JORVIK friesians. People who decided to spend their money on them are at fault if they feel bad. The horses aren't broken, they fit the purpose of the game.
I can't wait for the new breeds to come out. I hope SSO will eventually release Friesian sport horses so we can get more coat colours! ❤
I bet they will! I'm happy that they're sticking to the breed standard for now but also excited to possibly see fancier coats on the new model.
Im so unbelievably excited for the saddlebreds as theyre my favorite breed, i just wish they werent focusing on the western aspect of them :(

Maybe they’ll make magic horses with a friesian model, I’m glad they’re keeping the breed coats realistic, I was getting tired of the magical horses/unrealistic coats, imo
Personally, I'm so glad they're actually sticking to the breed standard. And I bet they'll do what they've done in the past and use the new Friesian model to release Friesian Sport Horses in the (not too distant) future. Then you'll get your pintos, dilutes and modifiers that aren't present in purebred Friesians.
I’m so excited for the American saddlebred! I ride them and almost every horse game doesn’t have them so I’m so happy and excited! I hope they look good so I will be saving my star coins!😮😁🎉

I can't wait for the new colors for the frisians but i will buy me one or two of the ones that are now in game just because we (maybe) can't get the unique colors that (maybe) will not be updated

Saddlebreds are ridden in western pleasure competitions all the time. News flash, saddlebreds aren't exclusive to saddle seat, it's most common sure but not the only one. I even know someone who competes barrel racing on their saddlebred

@@UrFavF4tty American Quarter Horses also do English disciplines to but there shown as a western breed in the game because that's what they mainly do so why wouldn't they show that breed as an English riding breed if there going to portray the American Saddlebred as a western horse if they normally do English disciplines 🤔🤨
and also news flash American Quarter Horses aren't inclusive to Western disciplines like a lot of other horse breeds aren't inclusive to a lot of other disciplines

@@Just_an_average_horse_girl sorry but it is. weighted horseshoes, gingering, and soreing are often overlooked by judges and vets due to the fact that it exaggerates the horse’s gait. nicked tails are also prevalent and can KILL A HORSE if the rider does not take care of them properly.
It is not abusive if used right but some times it can depends on the rider

Yeah they can, their mane and tail can turn orangey.
@@fleurtherabbit Well when I went to a horse show I talked to one of the riders and they said the a Friesian cannot get sun bleached
@@horsecrazygirl206 Well I don't know what kind of friesians they know, but the friesians here in the netherlands often get orange mane when the sun comes out. Not all, but many. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the type of black, I believe jetblack friesians keep their black mane.

I'm not sure who told you this, but it is impossible for fur and hair to not get sunbleached. It happens to all animals, even humans and our hair and skin.
They either dye their horses hair, keep them in all the time, or full body cover them all the time. The only acceptable one is to dye your horse, but even then, it is stupid and only done because people can't seem to be okay with natural horses.
Either way, unless the friesian never sees the sun, it will be sunbleached. But the bright side is that they absolutely slay sun bleaching.
I just want more mustang coats 🥲
