Qatar definetly had one of the best Football World Cups..people loved it there.

Been there a few times. A generic country with no authentic culture or experience. A Burger King on one corner, a Zara on another. Work done by 1.5 million migrants, while citizens chill somewhere in AC rooms. I can only compare it to Jabba the Hutt's palace. After this, I went to Azerbaijan which was far more authentic. I agree Riyadh is stifling- but Jeddah is a beautiful and a more vibrant city.

These big-money Saudi-like places seem way too "sterile" to me ⁉ Grew up next to NYC so high-rise buildings, no matter how new, turn me off ! Also expensive restaurants and bars are rip-offs so I no longer care about that BS either ! WHY ⁉ would I spend a fortune to go there ⁉
I’ve always wanted to visit Qatar! The modern cityscape combined with its rich history makes it such a fascinating destination. Hope to explore it soon! 🕌🏙
There is something weird about these cities. Like they are somehow made by a kid playing Simcity an just plopped down whatever looks cool instead of just a natural result of economic or social necessity. I wonder what percentage of all those towers is actually occupied.
Welcome Nora to your beautiful channel In fact, I would like to comment on some of the comparisons made between Riyadh and Qatar in terms of urbanization and civilization between the two countries. In fact, the comparison is correct at this level, but the difference is in terms of terrain from rocky mountains, valleys and wildlife in addition to beautiful and virgin coasts that are not trodden by tourism yet. It just needs cars to move around in that vast desert environment, of course, and it might be expensive for many.
Nora (the professional hobo) was just great in your video. I like her red hair, wonderful personality, and natural curiosity. You need to travel together more often.
