ahhh man I love Daytona! and I love the coverage! I could listen to those cars go around for ages without commentary! the way those microphones are setup were you hear them coming softly and then drive by! ahhh its ASMR to the max!
I remember the buildup to the Daytona 500 was a major thing. Now the pre races come and go and no one really gives a damn. The most detrimental thing to nascar for a couple of decades now has been nascar management.
It seems like every year in the Daytona Speedweeks we see one calm duel and one chaotic duel Edit: congratulations to Christopher Bell for winning the second duel race
Bro, when I saw BJ McLeod racing up in third, I was so happy for him. He doesn’t have the best of luck and I think you guys should give him a chance again.
Toyota is the greatest automotive manufacturer in the world 🌍 they have been fore years they have the best quality control best resale value & they run run run with little to noe maintenance & aren’t expensive repairs . They’re also the #1 automotive brand globally . There’s a reason why the Toyota Camry has been the number one selling sedan fore over 20 years
I remember when all the speedways used to have seating the entire way around them. Now they only have grand stands and seem to barely fill those. Sad to see,
Look at some of the races from the 60s and 70s. Most tracks don't have seats all around them. Talladega didn't have all it's grass growing in the early 70s.
You keep changing the names of races, and putting sponsor's names in the names, I can't tell one race from the other any more. Why don't you put "Twin Qualifying Races" in the title somewhere?????
They need go back to back to flag to flag and end this duel race crap. Imagine if the NFL after half time the score resets, or after the 5th inning it becomes 0-0. If it's a 500-mile race then make it 500 miles start to finish an let's see how the cars hold up, some real strategy in the pits and decision-making between crew chief and driver.
This isn't the 500.. The duels aren't supposed to be 500 miles, that would be stupid and boring. The Daytona 500 is the main event, and while I agree we shouldn't have stage yellows. I don't see why you are confused, the Duels have been around for quite a while now.
They are having a race and nobody is watching . Is it really that boring ? Wat is needed are some MOPARS , Pontiacs , mercury's , get rid of Toyotas . Make it fun , exciting ,big engines . We can watch future races with empty stands , nice going nascar .
Weren't no Toyotas' running shine. NASCAR should stick to North American stock cars. Japanese cars built here are still Japanese based outside of North America. So much for the North American portion of NAS-CAR...
Ah yes, Pontiac, Mercury, and Mopar. Well known for not being around any longer or turning electric (sadly, I wish all of them were still around), good idea. The engines are also not small by any means, you sure you want them any larger? As if the cars weren't heavy enough. But if you think getting rid of Toyota is a good idea, well then lets see what happens when the field size is reduced by about a quarter.
No what they need to do is add dodge back plus Ford & Chevy the quality control of both those manufacturers has been absolute horrible the last 20 years. Ford have been #1 in automotive recalls fore fee years in a row. Toyota has been making a huge impact ever since their inception not to mention, Toyota is the number one automotive manufacturer in the world . Ur just a hater of foreign vehicles in nascar . Perhaps you’d get off to dodge being brought back
@Celestial_Being666 while I'm sure you had fun typing that and I don't disagree that modern Chevy and Ford make shit vehicles. I would know, I own a Ford. That idea would absolutely kill the sport even more than removing Toyota.
The oval is just stupid bumper cars. I only watch the road course races as they don't have stupid random rush hour crashes taking out 15 cars at a time. This is like watching morning traffic on the freeway. Boring. So the winning drivers primary skill is not getting pushed off the track or rammed by a moron in another car. It's just high speed demolish derby. Might as well go to a dirt track while you're at it and save money. What time do the boat trailer figure 8 races start?
I agree road course tracks are best but everything else you said is wrong . There’s several oval races that have limited cautions with no big crashes & there’s contact on road courses sometimes big . Ur just a small closed minded person
No most people cannot drive 200 mph inches away from other vehicles like a professional. NASCAR have road course tracks where they take right turns & Also, that’s just like somebody saying any fool can sing/rap Any fool can throw a football any fool can shoot a basketball

Absofrigginlutely!
I’d rather be at New Smyrna
It’s almost to the point of no return, Jr should run Nascar!!
Then it might be able to recover
Reminds me of the old iroc series….like watching a freight train going in circles….
NASCAR hasn't mattered without an Earnhardt in the field
so happy that mcdowell's got a faster car now. i hope he wins his second daytona 500, that'd be awesome
Love it.... Turning up the TV and getting in the racing zone 🏁❤️
Daytona is an awesome track
why post the second duel before the first????????
I think the first one is at live tab
Duel 1 was streamed yesterday
I've seen the highlights from both Duels I was looking for this long length race
@@あしひそ Ah thanks for letting me know
Cindric forgot this was a duel race on the last lap
the only part I like about this reair is no TV commercials if you ask me we should have a choice of having to listen to the announcers or not !
I don’t even watch these. I watch the races from the 70’s-90s. Feel more real and fun.
It seems like every year in the Daytona Speedweeks we see one calm duel and one chaotic duel
Edit: congratulations to Christopher Bell for winning the second duel race
McLeod should of put big "rent me" stickers on his sponsor less car, would of been hilarious 😂
Excellent work Kevin !!
Bro, when I saw BJ McLeod racing up in third, I was so happy for him. He doesn’t have the best of luck and I think you guys should give him a chance again.
Ironic that some of these comments about not caring about this race are watching.
Just A Bunch Of Trolls
Hell yea Toyota won 🏆 both duels 👊🏽 more fore the record
I’m ecstatic Johnson drives fore Toyota now . Tremendous decision by the team 👌🏽
Would’ve been nice to have a livestream on your channel, I couldn’t watch it on TV
1 race to 500 miles!!! Starting time 12 noon!!! No restrictions on engines!!! Let the best team win!!!
Love the racing. keep it up!
I've been saying for the last few years Toyota is taking over
Toyota is the greatest automotive manufacturer in the world 🌍 they have been fore years they have the best quality control best resale value & they run run run with little to noe maintenance & aren’t expensive repairs . Toyota doing a far better job than domestic !
i like the pusher cars and drafting
someday Thay bring back old cars on track. for the Daytona 500
Thank you for posting. 👍👍
I remember when all the speedways used to have seating the entire way around them. Now they only have grand stands and seem to barely fill those. Sad to see,
Daytona never had seating all the way around lmao (unless you’re talking about the portion of backstretch stands)
Look at some of the races from the 60s and 70s. Most tracks don't have seats all around them. Talladega didn't have all it's grass growing in the early 70s.
Here we go
Where are the Ford decals that are usually on their hoods?
Are you referring to the mustang emblem on the grill ? If so it’s blacked out but there
What is the deal with the duals?
Why crash a bunch of cars for the main race.
South Park. Timmy!!
Yeah I don't get it either. Starting position in NASCAR practically doesn't matter. Especially a super speedway.
Can't believe the driver that caused the wreck won the race !!! he should of went to the back of the pack he must have friends in high places
so everyone knew where the 500 started from one or two go arounds
Is this the Daytona 500 or is it a pre race?
Pre race. The Daytona 500 is tomorrow!
Appreciate it
Good to know you are saving earth and going electric.
Has been waste of environment, energy
You keep changing the names of races, and putting sponsor's names in the names, I can't tell one race from the other any more. Why don't you put "Twin Qualifying Races" in the title somewhere?????
Wdym? It's always been the Daytona duels
is was in probations that made 500 so
im here early ig

I prefer the Duel 500 miles, 250 heat 1, and 250 heat 2 I love it the way it is now

Did you see the real 500 and figure out that what you said makes no sense?
@@Jon_Saan I haven't watch it yet I just got the link today and will watch it
Ryan Blaney sucks. He always causes wrecks at the plate races then try’s to blame everyone else
that wreck was Kyle Busch’s fault.
First

@Celestial_Being666
You are absolutely right!
Take last year's Coke Zero 400 for example (which I was at).
Only 2 cautions!
Slow cars ... better watch gt3 wec
Stock Cars and GT3 have pretty comparable speeds, with both motorsport disciplines having a top speed around 322 km/h (200 mph) :)
@@tadeomontano1222 GT3 cars rarely exceed 175mph on the longest straights.

Why don't you go out there then? Or are you too scared you'll end up like blaney
