We filmed A Wedding for Free - Teaser Trailer Film

A couple booked with X wedding company. We will not defame the company booked out of respect. Instead we'll tell our story. We were reached out to within 8 hours of having to be on the road for another agency's company, no contract, no timeline and promised payment. We we're promised payment for the event by a parent company and weren't paid upon delivery of footage. The Christian couple also claimed to have been scammed from being delivered their film.
We had no clue what we were getting into. We felt so bad for the couple. So we filmed cinematically & recorded audio. We were instructed to capture the entire ceremony from 1 angle at the back of the ceremony (a recipe nobody should follow). We were then gaslighted by a company and told this was a wrong approach and we wouldn't get paid. Luckily, we filmed other parts of the wedding with gimbals and cameras to instill motion.
The couple was shattered by what the parent company threw together and we eventually connected months later out of the respect for the media company operating their business. We used the footage provided and sent the couple this, only to supposedly make their day.
1. We care about each couple. And we want you to have films you deserve. Each film turns out different based on the day of events, speeches, and details of the day. But we try to control as much as we can. We hope this informs you to do your research on the companies you're hiring.
