Ain Ebel is a village located in the Lebanese Upper Galilee in the Caza of Bint Jbeil in the Nabatieh Governorate in Lebanon, about 90 kilometers south of Beirut. It is one of the few Christian towns in the area, and is mostly surrounded by Muslim towns like Bint Jbeil.

روبير ايها العزيز الغالي ابن عمتي زكية حبيبة قلبي
لا زلت احاول ان استفيق من نشوةالاستماع إلى حديثك الشيق والتمتع بالنظر إلى الشيخ الجليل الذي أسر مضيفه بحضوره وذكاءه وفطنته وسرعة بديهته....فعاودت النظر الى الشاشة فوجدتني انظر إلى شاب وسيم بهي الطلعة في ملامحه وسامة الاغريق وفي ابتسامته سحر ، في خطوته عزم ورشاقة وفي قوله حكمة واتزان.
روبير بركات شيخ الشباب ، محط أنظار الصبايا الحالمات، كان انيقا في ثياب العمل لدى عودته من عين الحرية محملا دابته بانواع الفاكهة الشهية متابطا بندقية الصيد يوزع ابتساماته وتحياته وبعض الفواكه على من يلتقي من الأهل او الجيران.
كان أكثر رجولية والعرق يتسبب من جبينه وهو يعود من الصاحاني مع رفاقه يحملون أغصان الدفلة لتزيين الكنيسة واقامة اقواص النصر استعدادا لعيد السيدة حيث ستقام الصلوات وتعمر الدبكات وتطلق الألعاب النارية احتفالا بالعيد واحتفاء بالمغربين القادمين من جميع أنحاء العالم إلى عين ابل الام ويكون روبير من اوائل القائمين بمعظم هذه النشاطات.
وكان روبير في ذروة "شبوبيته" في حفلات الر قص التي كانت تقام في فيراندة خاله انطانس في أمسيات الصيف العامرة بالمغتربين
فلا عجب اذن اذا تحدث شيخنا عن عين ابل بشغف العاشق ولهفة المحب فحب ر وبير لعين ابل ما كان يوما اقل من حبه
لرفيقة حياته ...فيروز... حبه الأول والأخير.
لا عجب اذا كانت عين ابل حبيبة كل عينابلي وقبلة أنظار كل أبنائها وكل من سكنها او زارها او انتمى إليها لأنها كانت ولو لفترة عابرة موطىء أقدام السيد المسيح ( كما يقال)
يا ابن عمتي الحبيب... يا ابن عين ابل البار كنت شيخ الشباب ولا زلت شيخ الشباب أطال الله عمرك واسعدك بعافيتك وعيلتك
