Being a still photographer and having studied the works of Albrecht Durer. I am starting to do some still Life, I just want to say your set up is a great idea and want to say thank you.
Thank you for this. I had plans for another light box and the construction was to cut out parts to allow for light etc. I am short on supplies for that project. But I do have boards constructed like yours. I will use this setup and allows me to store it away, when not in use. I think allowing for fabric is great. Very versatile set up and thinking"outside the box". Thanks again.
Very helpful. I wonder how dimly lit the room should be when using a shadow box because the light will interfere with the shadow box light. But if it's very dim you might not see your paint colour very clearly.
Hi. Thanks for posting this, it's so helpful! I am switching from landscapes to still lifes for a change and am just trying to put together my first setup. Can you give me the dimensions of your boards for the small and large setups please?
The light boxes look simple, yet sturdy. I also appreciated your other ideas such a table that moves up and down. My question: what are the dimensions of your light boxes?
Very helpful. Looks easy to reproduce, except not sure about hospital table which sounds grand, but I bet I can figure someway to raise or lower. Might be helpful to know the dimension of boards for each size. Thanks much.
Thank you so much for sharing your idea for setting up a still life. Nice and simple. Would you provide the dimensions of the masonite panels that you are using for the two different sizes? It would be very helpful.
Wise, on point, and beautiful.
Thank you
That’s actually brilliant. Versatile and easily mobile if you are painting elsewhere or teaching etc. THANK YOU for that video!
So simple and functional! Love how you can change the angles of the sidewalls. Thank you!
Thank you so much Kimberly

You can also cut up cardboard if you're that stuck and don't have much money.
