Not going to lie, wasn't a huge Nyjah fan until the Nyjah Frees dropped. The shoes were damn near perfect. Them and the Shane's are easily my top two shoes of all time. I haven't been in a pair of vans since I wore either of them
He’s taking on the athletic aesthetic, I dig it. Kinda thrown off by his outfits sometimes but I can’t say shit when he’s hopping on 25 stair rails haha I see it working for him though. Probably real comfortable too.
I imagine that the comfort and freedom of movement has to be a big part of it. There's a reason that professional athletes from most sports wear the gear they do. When you get to the level of competition that he's at those little details can make a difference. Not my favorite look but I get it.
The short shorts help a lot in what he does and actually makes a lot of sense of why he likes it. Its comfortable, great style and look, and he is able to move and do more tricks
Bro I haven’t skated in 11 years. Haven’t had a skate shoe in that long as well. I still support the culture still love skating. But I must say these shoes are cold bro I’d get these when I can for sure.

The colour way looks like the old 90's Olympic dream team colours that Nike did bitd.
Maybe they did this now with this shoe to gear up for the Olympics before it got pulled.
yes! the 2 new color ways are based off of the original nike zoom spiridons from the 90s, one of them being the olympics like you mentioned
This shoes is great, it’s the perfect middle ground, has the sturdyness and durability of a cup sole, and the board feel of a vulc shoe, and I love that there’s no adjustment feeling when skating a new shoe, it’s just comfortable out of the box, the only down side is the mesh is the first thing to tear, especially if you do a lot of heel stuff

Big respect to Nyjah. I think it’s cool he designed it with the tongue instead of sock so that people with wider feet can skate them. Hoping the 2s fit my foot better than the originals.

My foot isn’t really that narrow and that’s why I’ve been so hesitant on buying his first shoe, but I’m glad Nyjah made it clear that this shoe is more suitable for us.
I got a wide foot actually and got his 1st gen shoes... they do feel like snug fit but if you size up to 1/2 size it's real solid shoe feel... I got the 2nd gen but the 1st gen is my favs tbh
When circa was mentioned and the Appleyard shoes..... damn dude, my favorites ever. I have a wider arch of my foot and those shoes just worked so well for my foot. These are dope too but the arch seems too thin for me to be able to balance well with but the style is slick. Nyjah youre a beast bro, and i agreed so much when you were talking about the grip on your board and shoes. i love broken in less grip too. that was so relatable.

I know what is setup is whT i mean its just cool if they asked him since theyve been doing so recently, and they go very detailed about it.
His Disorder 8.125 mold is so damn good… has perfect pop and nice wide nose. The concave is perfect. Makes it easy to flick the board.

K Yes, I know the Olympics colorway I bought sold out very quickly but I think Zumiez still has the white colorway and Nike just added the black and white colorway. The Berrics Canteen ran out and other locations like skate shops.

What he says about shorts is true. I mainly skate shorts in summer, all my summer skate shoes are white or a bright colour, save the dark colours for winter haha.
This will be my very first pair of NIKE SB ever. I had that problem when they stopped making the REYNOLDS 3, then it was hard for me to find something and i found DC CHRIS COLE 2 those were just perfect for me, and then MARANAS only maranas for close to 5 years now. Im buying this fo sho!!!

I hate Nike but love the wrap-around paneling. Utilitarian design for skating. Emerica Gammas had that too, plus rubber backing, lots of triple-stitching. It was my favorite Emerica shoe. Really high-quality. Of course....now they're discontinuing it.

A lot of people don’t like how the shoe fits narrow but at the end of the day, it’s still Nyjah’s custom shoe, not yours. He obviously is gonna design a shoe that fits his foot well to help him skate. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to wear them. Simple

So the option the stylistic flush with certain attire was the goal was deserved and works however compared to dvs and globes those are weak socks

Really dope to see Nyjahs a pretty humble regular dude while being the Kobe of skateboaridng right now. on the shoe though, meh. skipped these and the qs taylors. Doubled up on the white/navy blazer-mids to have a pair to skate, and a pair to wear casually.

I've gone through 4 pairs of Nyjah 1s - I haven't stepped on a board for nearly 20 some odd years and just by walking a lot EACH pair gets CRACKS in the exact same spot after like 8 months. Such a design flaw but conforms to my foot so nicely...which is why i keep buying them. The 2's look like they have a mesh upper so you can see your socks through them.....like what??? not really into them.

Okay, i purchased the shoe 4 days ago in my local skatestore. After 2 intense skatesessions this shoe already has a hole on my Kickflip side on the shoe. I mean its a cool shoe, its ready to skate cause its very flexible an thin but 2 sessions and the material is done is very weak in my opinion. When you are sponsored and you can grab every week a new shoe its no problem. Maybe i was unlucky with my model bit this is ridiculous. Never had that ecperience with any skateshoe i owned.

Great video dude! I got the Nyjah 1s and they are by far my favourite shoe BUT they started cracking near the toe box after a year of just walking in them. Do you think the Nyjah 2s fixed this problem by including the mesh or do you think I just got a faulty pair?
