When the draw came out and it would have been Sutton v Lincoln in the Quarter-Finals if we'd pulled off a miracle, it was just brilliant, because it would have guaranteed a Non-League side in the Semi-Final. And look at both clubs now - we're in the Play-Off spots in League Two and they're in League One.
I don't think it was very sad, you can't expect to go against Arsène Wenger 's arsenal as a Vanarama team and expect to win! They did so well to get there anyway.

They looked very professional all through this run, barely any mistakes from any one player and did the basics very well and didn’t over think anything

The fact they dumped out a weakened Brighton made me smile, and Arsenal in that quarter final couldn’t even fill their stadium. Look at the amount of empty seats! Sincil Bank would have been sold out in minutes, seconds even. Seeing a team who care about the FA Cup warms my heart. Hope to see another cup run in the next few years!
To be fair, they care about it because it's a potential cash cow - the same exact reasons the top clubs prioritise the other competitions. Comes to the same thing really.
