- A small compilation of clips shot during our annual autumn get-together at Ribe Viking Center in Denmark. Sadly the weather conditions didnt allow for filming of the fight training and I appologize for that. We are a reeactment group called RIPA (old name for Ribe Town) focusing on viking fighting and battle reenactment. I hope to do another video showing and explaining the actual fight training at another point in time. This little video is mostly ambient shots to give you an idea of a viking village or a viking house from the inside inhabited by modern day viking reenactors.
We are greatful for our cooperation with the management at Ribe Viking Center letting us train and spend a weekend in their fantastic facilities in the recreated viking environment. They produce some amazing UA-cam material themselfes so go check out and subscribe to them as well. If you are in Denmark visiting Ribe Viking Center is a must.

You give us a small window into the world of the past. We see through it darkly but your videos portray it with such a depth of color and essence of simple beauty; like the fire, the metals, the wood, the water, the food, the pleasure, the laughter and silence and the bonds of friendship and fellowship.......The softness of the green pastures and animals. Which song did you use in this video?
Some open source music by Aleksander Nakarada. I Will look for the link. I am working on a hurdy gurdy to make my own soundtracks but so far i have to "borrow". Its a mistake from me not to give Credit to the music. I Will update the description soon
