Rappers like him that don't rap about the usual drill content but only rap on drill beats hurt their careers without knowing. They might get a viral track every now and again but they won't gain a loyal fanbase because their music will always be seen as tiktok or gimmicky music. TFace and Yung TS would kill an afro/dancehall sound. Shakes suits grime the best but he only raps on drill.

Shakes is cold and i do like drill but he just doesn't suit that sound in my opinion, either needs to make himself have a commercial sound to go clear or go to a genre where he can actually shine, whether its niche or not. least he can gain a fanbase rather than a bunch of people finding him cold but not actually seeking his music.

Because of the tiktok sound i didn't even take him in, he can actually rap and has bars, just needs to find his sound rather than impressin the tiktok kids. Them tiktok kids have zero loyalty once they are bored they are gone
