Hi I recently got my SAR and its says i need to answer the questions regarding me paying taxes ect.. but when I go to make corrections I dont see those questions anywhere on the application. What should I do?
J Box Hi. It sounds like you need to go through the questions about income and amounts and double check them. Did you use that IRS tool? Is just a one click way to pull over accurate information about your income, taxes, etc.

So they want the 2016 tax information in 2018 and not the 2017?
Christy East On the 2018-19 FAFSA form, you (and your parents, as appropriate) will report your 2016 income information, rather than your 2017 income information. I hope this helps. Hi Euri, International students are not eligible for the US government aid programs (Pell Grant, SEOG Grant, Stafford Loan, Perkins Loan, PLUS Loan, and Federal Work-Study). However, many schools will ask international students to submit a FAFSA so that they may use the data for assessing financial need.
So why they will ask an international student to submit a FAFSA if in the first place we are not eligible for the US government aid programs?
