The technical term you are looking for at about 6:30 is a "Tactical Blob". It is a very well documented military formation used for a millenia. Still in use today, and can be frequently found in your local Arma 3 Servers.
I recommend using machine guns for endless mode because its good for defense and high firerate makes it easy for youre troops to defend the trench, machine gunner is pretty useful for when theres alot enemys but flame thrower is good for its well flame thrower and crowd control
Machinegunners are good too but when the enemy waves spawn snipers, the machinegunners can't do anything.

Yeah! Although this game is on steam, it still feels so much like the flash games I played years ago.

Here are the Various Levels of Organization within an Army, with the U.S. Army as an example.
• 1 Team (aka Fire Team) = 4 Soldiers.
• 1 Squad = 3 Teams.
• 1 Platoon = 2 or 3 Squads plus 3 Soldiers for a Platoon Command team, a Platoon Lieutenant being one of them.
• 1 Company = 2 to 4 Platoons plus 6 Soldiers for the Company Command and 2iC Command Teams (3 each), A Company Captain being one of them.
• 1 Battalion = 2 to 4 Companies plus at least 6 Soldiers for the Battalion Headquarters with a Battalion Major being one of them.
From there you'll have Regiments, then Divisions, Corps and an Army, bear in mind that this doesn't take into account the Various Support Equipment like Light Machine Guns, Heavy Machine Guns, Mortars, Howitzers, Anti-Tank Guns, or Anti-Aircraft Guns.
I do have a Challenge for you to try out man. Try making it in Endless Mode on Difficult Level up to at least Wave 100 with at least 10,000 Stars in your Wallet/Treasury.

You know, there needs to be an option to attack in endless mode... your men move forward and into the distance... and attack the endless.

I actually tested this myself and if you build an army of just snipers but nothing else it keeps the frame rate high but also it kills anything, i kept going to about wave 150 before getting bored and artillery striking my own troops XD
Yeah snipers alone is very strong. But early on it's hard to get them going. So officers and rifles can fill in the blanks
@@PanzerPaw yeh later on i seperated my troops by retreating them and then sending them forward again it makes the snipers wait in the back trench and eveyone else go forward, i then waited for the waves to deal with the other troops or i artillery striked them just so that it would get rid of the lag and then i was left with an army of snipers that couldnt lose

Hey, I have problems with the game when I sometimes want to level up my units so they’re really strong but because of that I wait, long time and because I’m waiting, I get more units and more because I’m still buying more units and it’s really hard to go upgrades
