God's Word is truth, we see it unfolding today more than ever. God's blessings on you and your family. God bless everybody reading this. Thank you Pastor
Father God, I bind the word of psalm 12, 2 corinthians 6:14 God myself and my opponents in agreement with this message word of men is never as faithful as the word of God, loosening all lying to one's neighbor and speaking with a double heart upon no return in my life, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord ; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him. Psalms 12:5 Amen
God brought me back to this psalm today. So beautiful how specific He is with us. How intimate always amazes. And how He uses the same verse/psalm you have read several times... and Yet He speaks to you through the same psalm regarding a very specific and relevant thing that is happening right in the moment we’re in. How He reveals and speaks to your own personal situation. How you understand Him more deeply and those who gone before us and how it applies to what is going on all around us. As the last verse and what you say at the end as it relates to the entertainment industry rings true of something very recent and specific in music. Evil has escalated. Birth pains increasing. And the wicked are prowling as I have sadly and so disturbingly seen so many take this as an opportunity to say ugly things to Christians. Truly truly Blows me away. But GOD!! So Rich in Mercy. His Great Love that He long-suffers us and desires all to come to repentance. It leaves me in awe that He used me in this moment to say Kind words when I was truly grieved in my heart to see all the hostility. He so kindly and gently reminds me what AMAZING time for OPPORTUNITIES to speak life. To speak the pure words of God. To share in Love however He leads me and also to come confront in love. Truly He has Raised us up FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! The Harvest truly is plentiful but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the Harvest to send out Laborers into the Harvest Matthew 9:37-38
Question: in v. 7, you implied that God was talking about preserving His Word; but here, isn't He referring to the afflicted and needy He spoke of in v. 5? I know Scripture tells us that His Word is preserved, but I didn't think that was the context here. I looked at NIV, NASB, NLT and they all appear to be referring to afflicted /needy...which would further emphasize David's earlier prophecy...
Thank you Pastor Paul.
