वित्त मंत्रालय ने महिला सम्मान बचत प्रमाणपत्र, 2023 के लिए राजपत्र अधिसूचना जारी की और इसे तत्काल प्रभाव से 1.59 लाख डाकघरों में उपलब्ध कराया गया है। इस योजना की घोषणा 2023-24 के बजट में केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री द्वारा 'आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव' के उपलक्ष्य में की गई थी और यह लड़कियों सहित महिलाओं के वित्तीय समावेशन और सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
दो साल की अवधि की योजना लचीले निवेश और आंशिक निकासी के विकल्पों के साथ दो लाख रुपये की अधिकतम सीमा के साथ त्रैमासिक चक्रवृद्धि ब्याज 7.5 प्रतिशत का आकर्षक और निश्चित ब्याज प्रदान करती है। यह योजना 31 मार्च, 2025 तक दो साल की अवधि के लिए वैध है।
The Finance Ministry has issued a gazette notification for Mahila Samman Savings Certificate, 2023 and it has been made available in 1.59 lakh post offices with immediate effect. The scheme was announced by the Union Finance Minister in the Budget 2023-24 on the occasion of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' and is a significant step towards financial inclusion and empowerment of women including girls.
The two-year tenure plan offers an attractive and fixed interest of 7.5 per cent compounded quarterly with a maximum limit of Rs two lakh with flexible investment and partial withdrawal options. The scheme is valid for a period of two years till March 31, 2025.
