I just want to point out that " the old testament is law based,not grace",
I beg to differ:
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Joseph and his brothers were 400 years and more before the law.
"Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness"
Moses said: " man doesn't live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.*
And: Deuteronomy 30:8
This commandment that I command you today is not excessive nor is it far from you. It is not in the sky, saying, “Who will go up to the sky and get it for us?....The word is very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart and in your hands, to do it."
It's always been by faith alone through grace alone, through Christ alone (even through the pre-incarnate Christ.
This is God's Way.
It never changed
