  • Seattle Raga Labs is excited to present its first ever Dance production: Mand Thillana. The dance is a pure Nritta based rendition choreographed to the uplifting music of Mand Thillana by IndianRaga Music Fellows NCS Ravali and team.
Thillana is a vibrant composition fast in tempo, with intricate rhythmic sequences and exquisite poses. The dance has been choreographed by Akhilesh Vadari, with the able guidance of the Creative Lead Pavithra Vijayaraghavan, IndianRaga Fellow, who fine-tuned it to perfection. To match the tempo of the song, fast paced jathis with improvised patterns and unique formations have been utilized. These, put together with a young team of passionate dancers led to a very fruitful collaboration.
