I gotta be honest. I grew up in this era, experienced the whole movement over here in the states on the east coast early to mid 90’s. I just wanna say that all due respect goes to 🇬🇧…..the true birth of the whole movement. These guys have a corner reserved in heaven that’s got speaker cabinets that are infinite into the sky, and a set of gold plated 1200’s, with needles constructed of diamonds, as the sounds blare constantly to the heavenly masses.. biggups to the crew….and that goes for everyone that is down with it!!!
They🇬🇧 also studied and kept Hip-hop underground alive!! Born and raised in 🇺🇸NYC the Bronx the birth of hiphop...but they right now, & since biggie big pun & Tupac🕊🪦...they do it better🫡🫡🫡🇬🇧
I used to live in that Mississauga-Toronto area, taking that 401 everyday hour too and from work…. The mix, the late night fast lane…. Man, thank you. Been a little homesick, while living here in japan; happy your mix popped up.
I used to absolutely love driving around for a few hours when I was younger doing nothing but getting lost in music and your videos remind me of those simpler days. Thanks!
@@horsedevoursy5458 so right, there’s no way I could connect with boomers talking about the 60s. It wld just go over my head. I was 17 in 1996. What a time , still innocent, I did drink but no drugs. I just loved the house scene, chill out , jungle etc. the magazines like dj and mixmag. A window into a madder world. Club photos etc
You have an absolutely amazing collection of Essential Mix. I was 15 when this was played and this brings back so many memories. Thank you for sharing!

Well said.
Definitely agreed 100% except diamonds are too hard, they'd ruin the records.
