I'm a simple man and living in the woods is a dream of mine whether it's the deep woods or a simple back woods close to the ocean I'm definitely looking forward to spending my senior years somewhere far away from people.
We always love travel videos and this was great. So glad you have the drone, birds eye views that we can't see. Maybe visit some of the local people, craftsmen, gardeners, builders, off the grid, survivalists, etc.
The Conowingo Dam in Maryland is probably the closest dam to where I live. There are several bald eagles that sit in the trees near the dam because of all of the fish in the river. It's sort of a tourist destination as there is a rest/picnic area near the dam. There are usually several photographers there to capture shots of the bald eagles at any given time. It's also a pretty good bike ride from where I live. Looking forward to more videos from the two wheeler and possibly footage from some of the other dams. The new series " Mountain Life" sounds like a "dam" good idea. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Really liking the footage from the new drone, it's awesome.
Those dams were constructed through a program that helped us help each other. We came together, worked hard, and made the lives of millions of Americans better. Wish we could find a way back to that place. Beautiful views.
Outstanding idea, because it gives you an excuse to get out riding thru the mountains, which we’d all love to see as well; to see the mountains of NC and where we all might like to ride one day too.
use to belong to hog years ago. they had a run called the 5points of summer. one summer it was out of the way post offices. had to have a picture of you and your bike at each place. another one dams. all accross the state of Washington. wife and did them with pictures. never received the rocker patch. I decided too move on.
I grew up on the north end of sand mountain in Bryant AL. Nickajack dam is across the train track from the foot of the mountain. I spent a lot of time on those waters as a much younger man. Some folks may have heard of the Nickajack Cave. It's located on that waterway map at the end of the video, right where AL, GA and TN all meet.
That’s a beautiful area there as well. I’ve never stayed in the area however I have stopped at the rest area on Lake Nickajack. We travel 24 between Chattanooga and Nashville often
Not only are these sites beautiful, but the engineering that went into the construction of these tva dams is mind boggling. Especially when they started in the 1930's. We have 3 of them that we ride to all the time here in middle Tennessee. The Norris Dam near Rocky Top Tennessee was the first tva dam constructed. We also love Dale Hollow dam, and Center Hill dam. Thanks for sharing. We are blessed to live in this area
Big thumbs up on the idea, Adam wile your in the white mountains next week and your probable already on the way up there will you get to ride up mount Washington, the drone shots would be epic stuff. see you next week my bike will need it`s 10 k service.
Not sure if I’ll have time to make it up there this year. Definitely not gonna have time before the rally but maybe I can take one day to go ride afterwards. Kt and I rode up there once back in 2015 but they had closed the road to motorcycles because the winds were too high. So we never made it up.
North Carolina is a very beautiful place. When my grandparents retired in 1972 they moved to Cullowhee, NC. I use to love to visit them there, they did not live in the city they lived on top of a mountain you could see for miles!!! They passed in the 1990s . Do you live in that part of North Carolina? I would watch your new channel if you decide to start it up. Thank you for the video!!
Beautiful scenery, haven't been to the dams, but do enjoy going to the Cherokee and Maggie Valley area on occasion. I'm not a biker but really enjoy the Wheels Through Time Museum also. Maybe I'll take something with four wheels through the Tail of the Dragon someday, lol.
Dawns here ☀️

Great idea Adam, I've just Googled this Dam, and living here in the U.K., it's fantastic to see the vastness of of your great country, thanks.

I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of your channel and the fact you bring it back to Harley content .👍👍
It’s not always Harleys nowadays a majority
Great drone footage. I am 123 miles southwest of Murphy near Rome, Ga. Murphy to Waynesville one of my favorite riding areas. Thanks for views.
Yes I know Rome
This is going to fun to see these dams and the wonderful part of the country that you live in.
I’m glad you’re up for it

Yes, wheels through time is just amazing. Maggie Valley and Cherokee are both beautiful places
Cool drone footage but you need to be careful taking videos around them I work forTVA and they get kind off touchy about that thought id let you know
Good to know, I didn’t think it would be an issue because I wasn’t showing anything that wasn’t already in public view.
@@amsoiladam you never know what some people are thinking with what is going on in the world today ride safe
Hi Adam has that dam got a leak halfway down the spillway?
I think it is designed in because it was on both sides of the spillway in the same exact place very
