Bro, that QJo laydown after the UTG open was quite possibly the smartest play anybody has ever made on a poker vlog. Whatever you charge for coaching, double it. Haha! Keep up the great work!
6 seconds into the video I decided to subscribe. I can tell immediately that the video quality and style of music and intro was going to be a great video.
I've been sub'd for a month now, and have watched a few episodes from the past, too. Your vlogs are exceedingly enjoyable to watch. The Mariano flavor is real and it's always there but in different ways. There was great humor in this one, too. Congrats on the win. Looking forward to the next one.
The turn jam w/ the QQ was probably perfect. if it took him 4 min to decide, it did what every bet should do: leave the villain in a horrible spot (or very hard decision) where he doesn't like either of his choices. good play.
i skip through most poker video intros. I actually genuinely enjoy yours and the strange music you put with them. Keep up the good work. And the poker commentary is great too. One quick suggestion, maybe put time stamps such as: intro- 0:07, Pros/Cons- not this video but generally, Hands- 3:40
Hey man, I just recently started getting into Poker Vlogd... Neeme and Owen are the ones I watch the most. I tried other vloggers... they just suck. I like your style of videos. A nice drone footage of the place. A quick run down of the pros and cons... then straight to poker. In my opinion, don't stray away from that. Neeme is starting to get out of hand with too much facetime of b.s. Great job!! You got a subscriber.
You did the right thing on the trip Qs with the club flush board. What you thinking, he must of had at least one club? Surely. and the number of outs would of favoured him. Take it down, get the hell out of there and on to the next hand.
Very appreciative of your vid as always Mariano! As a piece of constructive criticism, I felt your voice in the opening monologue audio was a bit loud/echo-ey (if that makes sense). Regardless, keep up the good work, man!
I think the jam on the Queens hand was great. With 3 clubs out there make him pay to play. With 2 clubs maybe a value bet. Idk about you but my luck in that situation the player would call and have one club and beat me. I can’t tell you how many times I make a nice size bet before the river , I have a straight or flush someone with trips calls and boats up. A little diff from this situation but you get it. Anyway great video as always
Pros and Cons of Agua? Never been there but passed it few times on my way to Fantasy Springs and Spotlight 29. Btw, just noticed you have over 11k subs already. WOW!!! I think i subbed when you only had 1k. Amazing! Keep it up, kiddo!!
You should have checked on the turn (Q9 of hearts hand) and it would have been checked around. The river would been a brick, because no one would call a $55 bet if they didn’t have at least A2 of hearts, a high pair, or just an ace (the gambler). River being a brick, would make big blind asume he has the best hand (AK off suit)and will bet $60-$120 range. That’s where you take advantage of the trap and ship it in. And you would have one Max Value, other than that, keep posting!
bro my buddy told me one of the sundays in cleveland they are doing 2000$ drawings every 30min. im hoping we meet up on a great promotion day. cleveland is giving out all kinds of shit lately. excellent vid as always man im taking a break until meet up on east coast
Like the way you played the QQ on your last recorded hand. The shove on the turn probably forced him to lay down KK/AA with the fourth club in his hand. For the money involved, that's a lot of rivers to have to sweat through. Better always to just take it down and be sure.
I came here to say exactly this. If he bets 300, that only leaves 400 with a pot of 1180 on the river, then what do you do when the 4th club comes and he leads out? Better to take down the pot on the turn or charge the max for him to try to hit.
Would have preferred betting 250-300 on that turn card. Sucks if a fourth club comes but then its just an easy check/fold. Cant be scared of monsters under the bed.
Dude you know damn well another club was rolling off on that queens hand if you bet small and he called lol. He clearly had kings or aces with a club. If an ace king or club rolls off on that river it would be so digusting. You played it well
@JohnMartens1986 yes its either aces or ace king. That comment that the guy made saying hes supposed to call here means he has the nut flush draw minimum. That is absolutely not a "should" call with jacks or tens with the club. Youre not feeling even close to confident with a jack or ten high flush on a 4 club board
@JohnMartens1986 trapping is a legitimate strategy ya know.. Also alot of people dont get huge confidence with ace king preflop. And post flop all he has is the nut flush draw. The flop was simple. He called marianos bet, then folded turn because an all in call wasnt worth hoping for a club. Im not saying id play the way his opponent did. Im just telling you what ive seen from years of live poker. Alot of people are tight
@JohnMartens1986 it is absurd but there are alot of people that play absurd.. If everything operated standard then there wouldnt be winning and losing players. That guy he shoved on is most likely a losing player
hi bro...this is my suggestion on the hand you got Q9h....turn is another Q, with me I should check. because you can't lose. Example: any card on river 2,3,4,4,5.7 8 ,9, J, Q you win. Now, if river came K you might lose to full house of K. Now if river 10 you might lose to higher straight, that it. But not 10h, so they only have 5 cards and 3 Aces. Totally 8 cards. now any cards river came they have a chance to bluff you will make big pot.
Nice one again. Thanks for sharing. The A5s pot amount was not correct preflop. 45 instead of 40. And the amount on the was therefore 105 instead of 80. Right??? Keep it up man. ✌🏻
Hey mariano! Nice vlog! I think you made a bit of a mistake in the QQ hand. The call pre is fine IP, now the only mistake is the size on the flop, in a board this wet you really want to bet a size between 1-1.2x potsize, you will still get called by all overpairs and even someunderpairs with a the flush draw and your hand really needs protection. Doing that sizing you make the pot big enough son in the turn you can jam confortably without making an akward sizing and he will more likely be calling.
Pretty sure you need to check that Q9hh hand. You only get a value from a king because you block flush draws (and maybe a 10, maybe), and even then you get only one street of value. Get the value on the river. Other than that great video
@@MarianoPoker appreciate the comment. I guess ya it doesnt matter the size of the opening bet then, even a small one like $15. I find myself making a compromise here and there to make it to the flop, which isnt great playing.
Nah, good jam with the QQ. No other move. Bad players will play you with AA, or KK, and if a club comes out on the river how fucked do you feel? Well done man.
It’s just getting better and better...
So much fun to watch it every time.
Can’t wait for 37th.... keep it coming bro!
Bruh I laughed so hard at the QJo hand 😂

i believe he has a small flush like jack to 10 in hand and thought he folded to an ace high one.
Nice job Mariano. Been a fan since the beginning

A lot of times, people start high hand hunting which is probably why he checked that JTs. Unfortunate but it happens.
You never raise on ur 66 hand when 3 diamond on the board as u will only be reping flush and wud only be called by better. You did the right decision
