If you understood what I stated I am contending on using the term "surveillance pricing" as an emotive choice aimed at evoking fear about invasive practices. I'm merely suggesting "algorithmic price gouging" is a more accurate distinction because it identifies the core issues, meaning " The role of algorithms in enabling discriminatory pricing and practices" that in itself can create more awareness towards real solutions and change. My critique also points out that terms like *"surveillance"* can obvious obscure broader system issues with algorithmic decision making while sensationalizing specific practices for ratings and influence.
