The fees are not equivalent to those in Canada at all. Medical school in Canada cost 10 times more. The cheapest school is $13,00 per year. Cheapest hostels are about $2300. The standard of living too is very high. Whilst a meal in Ghana might be 15 ghc, a meal in Canada might be $15. The flights back and forth to Canada are also more expensive.

Comparing uni of Ghana to KNUST… It’s quite similar but in KNUST you have more time to study and build yourself, the fun activities are mainly on campus and it helps you network with many students… in Uni of Ghana, the activities are many but mostly out of campus and going off campus is very common because you’re in Accra and you can do a lot. But it’s easier to pass a KNUST exam. Uni of Ghana has a higher standard in terms of exams and academics I think… but uni of Ghana is the best when it comes to social sciences and KNUST is the best in engineering, for all other fields, it’s not easy to tell which school is better. I attended KNUST

The best university in Ghana is University of Cape Coast UCC, it’s the only university that made it to the times higher university rankings in the world and it was among the only two universities to make it out of Africa. First being university of Cape town. You can research it

Although the admission is straight forward, you have to get the cut off score for the department you are applying to. So the cut off mark for medicine is aggregate 8. If u don't get, they have a score for fee paying... Which of course you'll pay more than the one who got 8 A's

That is not true. The cut-off point is aggregate 6. And even that if you don't have straight As, your chances are slim

Is very cheap ahahah uk the least school fees for international student is between 13 to 16 thousand pounds and it’s the cheapest . Others pay between 18 to 40 thousand pounds 😂😂

Medicine is the highest in terms of fees for international students… most international courses are $2000 and below

Dear mrs maduka, I suggest you go to KNUST campus yourself to do more interviews. there are alot of NIG students on campus that can be interview ..we need more fila from the campus. especially international students.
