Ngl it would prob be even later than that. Took about 3 years for S2 which is probably gonna be about 50 chapters worth at most. It’s gonna take about two more seasons to get there, so it’s probably gonna be in 2030+

@@kindplanet1 JJK Season 2 does animate up to Chapter 136 tho. But indeed, it took 3 years for a new season and looking at the manga I'm guessing around 2 more seasons. So yeah, around 6 (5-10) years

The best domain clash edit i ever seen.
DE combats are less about the domain reach, but more about the way there are created.
The thing is, even for Sukuna and Gojo, the bigger your domain is expanded, the weaker it becomes.
But, and that is the reason I love this fight so far :
Sukuna has an advantage : he can build one without any barrier;
The thing can be avoided but it is more powerful and CANNOT be directly destroyed
But Gojo too has an advantage : the veeeery low time build/run.
So that he could at some point expand his DE FASTER than Sukuna, thus, touching him first.
So in a domain fight who wins?

In theory Sukuna wins anytime, right ?
Gojo's DE will always be destroyed by Sukuna's one, that's for sure.
But there's a lot of other parameters.
In reality Sukuna clearly had the advantage there, even if it was really small.
But he preferred to build up another advantage(Mahoraga) without realizing the big risk he was taking : only one hit of unlimited void, which even was partially tanked by Megumi, was plenty enough.
And at the end of the day, Mahoraga's adaptation to Gojo's DE was for nothing.
Thus Sukuna really underestimates Gojo a bit too much, and it backfired.
you're wrong on the "speed" thing. a lot of people have a misconception that the 0.2 is creating the domain. NO.
the 0.2 seconds is how long the domain stays active. the time it takes for gojo to build the domain is the same as everyone else, only people like hakari and higuruma's domains are ridiculously fast because of how their CT works.
the author literally makes a proporationate comparison. in shibuya, gojo's domain was active for 0.2 seconds, and high level cursed spirits were frozen for ~3 minutes. gojo's domain was active against sukuna for 0.01 seconds. in other words, it was 20 times shorter. how long was sukuna frozen for? ~9 seconds, which is EXACTLY 20 times less than ~3 minutes.
so let me reiterate. 0.2 is not the time it takes to create the domain. it's the time the domain affected those inside. same with mahito. mahito entered and left yuji's soul so fast sukuna didn't have time to attack him.
Wasn't it pointed out in the manga that sukuna activated his DE 0.01s(?) late hence he got hit by infi void?

@@hustlerar5316 yeah, quality was equal, but the type of domain made the difference, which makes it a dumb decision for Gojo to challenge Sukuna in a domain battle instead of just teleporting away, even if there was a chance of winning. Just teleport out and let Sukuna chew up his cursed energy using the domain.

short explanation: sukuna's domain wins
long explanation: sukuna's domain has no border, and streches to a much larger area. Therefore, when gojo uses domain expansion, his domain is within sukuna's domain. As explained before, domains are weak to attacks from the outside (rather than the inside which traps people) so sukuna could easily destroy gojo's domain.
This happens in the manga, so gojo has to resort to periodically creating simple domains to fight back after his domain expansion is destroyed.

Within Gojo's Domain, both sure hit effects were cancelled out. However Sukuna's extended to the vulnerable exterior of Gojo's Domain, allowing him to destroy it.

Sukunas has no barrier and therefore its bigger and can destroy unlimited voids barrier from the outside. Truly a divine technique. Basically, the sure hit was negated inside the area where unlimited void was cast but since sukunas de is bigger than gojos, the sure hit was still active outside of unlimited void. Sukuna focused the sure hit on gojos domain barrier
