Yeah pretty much like everything he does that's actually pretty much all of them they just copied decks from other the internet and can't put decks together for themselves on top of that they miss play a lot the only reason I really watch them is because I can't get enough Commander gameplay it kind of sucks to watch people not read the cards at all
@@erikstokely4734 I don't really agree. They have gotten a bit lazy with deck creation, however, they used to make their own decks and still do reasonably often. Missing plays however... we all do that if we aren't playing hyper serious. I watch them for John and Steven mostly. Corey is at least alright. Justin was great and really grew the show so I miss him being on it. Mistakes happen and aren't a big deal. Does it change the outcome? Sure, but that's not why we are watching in the first place.
Even without Justin (who in my opinion the Justin vs Stephen was the best relationship in MTG on UA-cam) it's still the best playgroup for content creators. That being said... Jeremy should've just played Godo if he didn't want to "think".
@@ADTR4ever Justin vs Stephen was the best relationship in MTG on UA-cam. couldn't agree more, they used to do podcasts together every now and then too was pretty good. Justin's arena content is great btw.
Blind obedience? Why blind obedience? Other ones are really proactive threats and blind obedience is mostly just an anti-wincon card that makes winning out of nowhere more difficult. Why blind obedience?
When you vote with Tivit, I'm pretty sure Corey should have made both of his votes first. It says "starting with you, each player votes..." and while you vote an additional time, you still vote first I think.
These cEDH games a too far and few between. This was a really fun game to watch! It was great seeing you support a cEDH game at an SCG event. Hope to see more in the future.
Super hype to see my boy Tivit be played in this week's episode, even if I am sad about the unexciting win (no hate against though, of course)! Great stuff guys!
Steven not activating Dauthi was unfortunate. It gives you permission to cast it this turn. Once Deluge resolved (killing Lavinia) he would have been able to cast any counter. It was dying anyway.
Would love to see something like weeks where the decks are made by commander vs alumni, just imagine "justin parnell week, danny west week, david mcdarby week, wes wise week"
I really wanna see Sen Triplets in one or more of these videos. The only time it was used was with parnell during covid/lockdown which makes sen triplets a little weird over camera play
Wondering the same but probably. Or one of basic and then snow basic, but I'm pretty sure the tivet deck that is doing well has no basics or only 1 or 2 and not of the same name
Pretty much any cEDH deck can make a very functional Tainted Pact Mana base. Especially in three colors, it's very easy to limit yourself to six basics (3 regular, 3 snow). In fact, most decks would probably choose to run less than that even if they didn't play Tainted Pact just because they want Mana to be so good.
So the deck name blue farm comes from the fact the uses a lot cards that give the players cards from other players doing game actions. That term is called farming. Blue farm.
54:40 Now I KNOW this isnt a cedh channel but I see this mistake soooo much. When Coreys Thoracle trigger went on the stack as active player he gets FIRST response, this is the time you respond with pact / consultation. If you pass like he did when everyone else passes and Corey get priority again the trigger resolves and he dosnt get to respond again and cast Pact. Tharocale players get blowen out by this time and again. 117.4. If all players pass in succession (that is, if all players pass without taking any actions in between passing), the spell or ability on top of the stack resolves or, if the stack is empty, the phase or step ends.
He wasn't passing priority for the trigger, he was passing priority to see if the spell resolved. When they all said "no response" he trigger his oracle and responded with pact. He played correctly.
I think it's only fair that if they have multiple cEDH weeks that they also should have at least one Jank week... Something like where nobody can play anything on their commander's EDHrec top recommended card-list for their commander. That way they have to build 'outside the box'
Not cuz if containment priest. Suspend would cast it so that wouldn’t exile it. However, drannith would have prevented it since suspend caste from exile
Best part of the video has to be Corey being an "avid fan of competitive commander" n then not knowing what his card even does at the end to win 😭 What a poor excuse of a human 😂😂😂😂
I figured out what bothers me every time they play "cEDH". It's the fact that they don't actually know the decks they are playing (how to mulligan, when to play interaction, politic correctly, etc). So how are they supposed to be "competitive" with said decks... They should in my opinion just call it "High Power". Jon obviously is getting more into the cEDH landscape and maybe Corey is interested because of his "pro" background but Jeremy and Stephen couldn't care less 😅
Anybody else gotten into the habit of fast forwarding through Jon’s turns. Crap always takes SO long! Then he holds up everyone else’s turns saying “hold on, I might have a response”(stares at hand, talks, checks the board, for like 2-3 minutes) “Okay, go ahead I got nothing” Grrrr…🤬
Decklists! articles.starcitygames.com/magic-the-gathering/commander-vs-348-the-cedh-special/
Could you please add the commanders to the lists? So you can see the cards when hovering over it, like with the rest of the list.
"I don't wanna think too hard." I now understand the motivation behind all of Jeremy's decks.

Same. Thats why I dont play Blue/j
26:30 did Stephen miss the Ob-Nixilis trigger for Jon paying 1 life for Force of Will?
Yeah he did
I caught that too
Missed the counter on ob for the first fetch too
37:50 the force with which Corey says “Damn!” is amazing
“That mixture ain’t gettin’ muttled.” 😂
That got my gizzard!
Jeremy: I don't wanna think.
Man out here playing the real game.
Most hated 2 drop is 3 way tie for me between Dockside Extortionist, Blind Obedience and Grand Abolisher
Drannith Magistrate? Thassa's Oracle? The list keeps going

it's insane cory didn't crack his clues all game, WILD how good tivit is in this format haha

Great game! Hope to see more comp gameplay!
At 44:41 I would have definitely sacrificed treasures to use the clues and draw cards.
Imagine If Esper Sentinel Triggered more than once per turn...
It'd definitely get as targeted for removal as rhystic study
Would love to see something like weeks where the decks are made by commander vs alumni, just imagine "justin parnell week, danny west week, david mcdarby week, wes wise week"
Mr. green I have a custom deck I think you might truly enjoy. if your ever doing fan deck builds. I’d like to pass you a deck list
Oh boy Corey running a B/U/* commander. Wonder what his win con will be. *surprised pikachu*
I really wanna see Sen Triplets in one or more of these videos. The only time it was used was with parnell during covid/lockdown which makes sen triplets a little weird over camera play
To be clear, if someone attacks with two 1/1s, that's two ob triggers.
does corey play only one basic land of each type? bc tainted pact stops if a card is revealed that has the same name as one revealed before.
Wondering the same but probably. Or one of basic and then snow basic, but I'm pretty sure the tivet deck that is doing well has no basics or only 1 or 2 and not of the same name

What was Jon going to tutor to win?

47:56 Technically you did have blue Steven if you know you know
Very exotic blue
Corey not digging for interaction and Stephen not using REB off of Voidwalker AAAGGGH
Crazy 3/4 players plan on winning with thassa's oracle
I think it's only fair that if they have multiple cEDH weeks that they also should have at least one Jank week... Something like where nobody can play anything on their commander's EDHrec top recommended card-list for their commander. That way they have to build 'outside the box'
Rebelution!!! I have that shirt
Jeremy’s secret tech, just ask whose in first not to win.
All these other cedh channels have perfect starting hands every time 😭
1 good hand 3 acceptable hands in my experience.
I thought you had the guys from the channel casually competitive at first.
If Delay resolved dockside wouldnt been able to come back because of the Containment Priest. Which would of been hilarious 😂
Not cuz if containment priest. Suspend would cast it so that wouldn’t exile it. However, drannith would have prevented it since suspend caste from exile
@@ethanadler3600 the wording on delayed said played but the rules on suspend said to cast. A little misread on rules
I really hate Thassa's Oricale, I know people hate on dockside a lot but man does it suck the fun out of less serious games.
I dont like cEDh but you guys make it fun to watch. Keep up the good work
Love Cory
Hope Jeremy doesn't discard a whammer hand like last time!! 😂
Missed Ob trigger when John did Force of Will!!!!!!!!!
Deck list!?!?!
Thassa oracle combo in 1 hour i guess its not the ideal win. Haha.
From this start, it's good to be Green, baby!

Would love to see an actual “CheatDH”. Players try to cheat. Players that get caught cheating get a penalty. 😂
i love u guys thx u for this Cedh is the best and you guys make it look fun

I usually watch their videos at 1.5 to 2x speed
stephen been so needy since justin left 🤡
Love these guys but to me cedh is antithetical to commander
Sorry, but this ending was boring. Competitive and CEDH are boring. I like the channel, but I'll be avoiding any future cedh episodes
Ahh cedh where practically every combo revolves around oracle. So much fun and originality. Not
There are many lists that don't run Thassa's Oracle. Tayam for instance has won two cedh tournaments back to back in the last 2 months.
