@andyrh525 honestly, im sure steve didn't want everyone to be miserable at his memorial. this was not his funeral coldplay was there to show respects by celebrating his life. I know I wouldn't want people to be sad if I were him!
@@Alex-om1be yes but come on at least have a little fun to make the memorial more fun because believe it or not people who die always wants there memorial to be a happy celebration
jonathan ive and steve jobs are reasons to celebrate that someone cares enough to give us things to enjoy so play what makes you feel good, thats what we need
I don't feel as though it's awkward at all to have music played at the memorial. Steve Jobs was a man, who amongst many other things, reinvented the way we listen to, and distribute music which of course, effected Coldplay's career. I feel like, as a band, they went about this memorial in a very professional way. I was extremely impressed.
well mate it was a memorial so they couldn't act all happy and all that. But I think that this song suited the ocasion just well, because it's just telling people to cheer up and remember Jobs as a fantastic man, but not to stay locked down to his memory
@HeadMasterCheez Most of those people are probably employees or colleagues of Steve's, there to pay their respects. They did love the music, as you can tell from the applause, but as a previous comment said, would you have felt like dancing if someone you really cared about had just died? There's as time and a place for festival/concert behaviour, and this obviously wasn't it. (Hugely insensitive comment about the grenades by the way, have some damn respect).
Unreal - there should have been a memorial for the crowd. It's meant to be a celebration - one of the most uplifting songs ever totally wasted on these nerds.
Ich glaube Chris fühlt sich wie im falschen Film so wie sich das Publikum verhält. Normal müssten alle ausrasten und tanzen egal nu zu welchem Anlass!! Dummes Publikum echt!!!
coldplay can come to my funeral any time...
You know you've done something good with your life when someone dances to celebrate it at your memorial.

Chris Martin is an incredible gift ....... thank you, Lord.

IF CHRIS MARTIN SAYS ''OHHH''
YOU HAVE TO SAY ''OHH''
>:c
GermainKan it’s a memorial man
@@Alex-om1be yes but come on at least have a little fun to make the memorial more fun because believe it or not people who die always wants there memorial to be a happy celebration
coldplay just made it well.......indeed every teardrop is a waterfall.
That person waving their hands randomly at 2:29 kills me everytime...
jonathan ive and steve jobs are reasons to celebrate that someone cares enough to give us things to enjoy so play what makes you feel good, thats what we need
its a sad day to lose such a great man, but fuck..... celebrate his life! you can dance and embrace the legacy of steve jobs

To be honest, it's more impressive that they performed a show just like their Mylo Xyloto 2011 tour, and not just performing acoustic songs
Uma das bandas mais fodas de todos os tempos no memorial do cara mais revolucionário na história da tecnologia. perfect!
coldplay does what he does best, steve jobs was someone different and revolutionary memorial could not be otherwise =)
thanks Coldplay & steve
@lilmarsh12 I dont think they are miserable. This was not a concert, it was a memorial and that is why the crowd was subdued.
don't blame the crowd
they were thinking about the future of the company after steve's death
May the sunshine of Angels help us all here on earth with unconditional love and light Thanks Coldplay !!!
Most people dont understand that this was a superior performance by the band. I do. Hey Apple community, dont be stiff be wavy like gravy.
I think Steve Jobs would've wanted this :)
now we need them to perform at this crowds memorial service
well mate it was a memorial so they couldn't act all happy and all that. But I think that this song suited the ocasion just well, because it's just telling people to cheer up and remember Jobs as a fantastic man, but not to stay locked down to his memory
i'd rather be a comma than a full stop
one of the greatest lyrics ... EVER
I love that they ended with this song.
COLDPLAY I LOVE YOU
steve jobs really is one man who changed the world. he is genius, and saw innovation and potential where many didn't. Thanks for supporting Coldplay
amazing :D
I get it is a funeral but still I bet Steve Jobs would have loved to see people dancing and having fun, rather than mourning.
You are right!
I bet Coldplay will never sing in a funeral again after this...
Paul 😂😂😂
@TheNerduino would be awesome if this had 20 million views and 1 million comments not 3 pages of comments =D
@rajimahakkou Will Champion really is amazing.
@Ricus8 It's a "memorial concert". It would be dissrepectful to do certain things.
Aaahhhh it's a funeral cause that crowd is like dead
Coldplay comes and play for Steve Jobs and you critize them?WTF?
@diljmarcos It's a memorial. It would be inappropriate for all of the people to be jumping and dancing.
@07h I totally agree with you.
It's a celebration of Steve's life not his death rip Steve jobs
"this song is about...." what????
hearts beyting to ones favourite songs?

its all about life
I realised that if you rearrange some of Coldplay's songs, you get Steve Jobs life planned out.
what happen with these people?
Who?
@@Alex-om1be people from the vid looking at coldplay in a awkward way
@yoyoyo333abc maybe because it isn't a concert!!! ITS A FRICKIN MEMORIAL!!!
Is the crowd dead or what!!!!
This is the only time you can't blame the crowd on being statues
Does that crowd know who are singing????
Bug guy at the back doesn't feel fazed by it
Funny how when he sings at the start, no one responds
This public seems more dead than Steve Jobs. Certainly is not a Coldplay's public.
what da tough crowd.. :S they tend to feel awkward when the crowd is like this one..
OK, time to find @dijmarcos's comment...
Does feel somewhat awkward having music played, but at least it was Coldplay, as opposed to pop or something heavy, respectful.
Me gusta la performance, pero el publico esta muerto!
If i couldn`t see the video and just hear it i`d of thought this was a great concert but i must be wrong
the people looked serious at the first and they should, but at the end most of them are dancing and singing..i thing they should too :D
Jonny cried ?
@yoyoyo333abc They don't know how lucky they are!
Siri, where can I hide @diljmarcos's body
Unreal - there should have been a memorial for the crowd. It's meant to be a celebration - one of the most uplifting songs ever totally wasted on these nerds.
@meplustofu Steve jobs was dead too! isnt that weird?
Poor Chris Martin...
on the memorial is not suitable to scream...
big rotund guy behind them doesn't seem moved
@TheIndecisiveJava Learn how to use comma's, DERP!
Big guy at the back doesn't seem faxed by it
loooks like a weak crowd but I dont think there as big in the usa then in the uk
Yea lol uk have real fans not like here in the usa with fake music coldplay is the real deal
