You know, I like how you make Angel’s dad and even the MRD soldiers act a bit more humane in this movie. I mean they may not like mutants, but they see that kidnapping and committing painful experiments on them is a bit too far
The scene at the end of Jean holding everyone up gave me chills. This is obviously a project forged from years of love and understanding of what this fictional property means to people on a grander scale. You portray mutant depression in a somber way without it ever feeling like trauma porn. Your scenes have genuine weight. I really hope you continue to make more of these.
Since the MCU likes making callbacks, I think a fun element to add to Scott and Logan’s dynamic would be Logan’s history with Captain America. Since Logan’s reason for not respecting Scott is that he doesn’t like boy scouts, we can use that as a jumping off point. One of the few pre-mind wiping memories that Logan still has is fighting alongside Cap in WWII and not being able to stand him since he was also a boy scout at that time. He even viewed Cap seemingly sacrificing himself to stop Red Skull as the ultimate act of self-righteousness since it gave him the best spot in the history books despite others suffering way more for the cause for less recognition. But decades later during Logan’s drifter days, he saw Cap go against the grain on the news during the events of The Winter Soldier and Civil War and it made him respect the man finally. This could be Logan’s core reason for pushing Scott’s buttons in the present: that he sees the Xavier student Scott as like WWII Cap and wants deep down to see him evolve into 21st century Cap.
I love the focus on cyclops. Finally he’s not getting overshadowed by wolverine. I also love the angel and devil thing going on with nightcrawler & angel. Now I need a part 3
This is awesome. I like Logan's mini arc here. I would've added a callback from the first X-Men movie. Jean: "You look good." Logan: "Yellow's a bit much." Scott: "What would you prefer? Black leather?"
This is another fantastic story! It definitely acts a great sequel to your first X-Men pitch. During that scene where Storm and Angel where flying and talking in the clouds, I imagined that Storm was forming the clouds around her and specifically formed wings for herself when she talked about them. The only complaint I have is that we could have seen a bit more of Mr. Sinister; although, I do suspect that he is not dead yet.
My guy, after seeing what you did the first time around I am absolutely blown away yet again. You sir are easily one of the most talented film enthusiast type youtubers I have easily come across recently alongside troyoboyo. Can't wait to see what comes next man, continue to prosper
This was fantastic! I love how you included wolverine without him overshadowing Cyclops. While still being his own character and having an arc. My favorite part was the conversation between Angel and Storm, about self-acceptance. Which I think is very powerful. Please make a part 3! The ending has so much more to explore, please everyone make the video reach to 100,000 views!
The way Scott figures out how to lead this new team is by taking some time alone to think and analysis. He goes over the training footage of the danger room and the team's failed mission together. He studies there abilities and skills and different personalities. To find out how to get them to work as unite and combine there abilities. This not only shows Scotts willingness to learn from his mistakes but also his strategic mindset and ability to adapt. I think in Scott and Logan's fight we see the different way there fight. Logan's fighting style is very offensive and aggressive based on boxing, Maui Tai and tiger style Kung Fu. While Scotts fighting style is more defensive and calm based on Kali, judo, taekwondo and Wing Chun. Over the course of series i think Scott should develop a lot more abilities growing in power to reflect his growth in leadership.
3:11, Scenes of Xavier’s students not only being taught but also participating in the skirmish against the invading Sentinels also does a great job in foreshadowing some of the later X-Men characters like the New Mutants (just as characters like Bobby and Piotr started out as students in the original X-Men trilogy before gradually becoming more prominent, first in fending off Stryker’s attack all the way until they officially joined the rest of the X-Men on Alcatraz Island. Featuring the children more would also have the X-Men be more heroic because their fight with the Sentinels would involve them protecting children. 1:17:46, Speaking of other potential added scenes, Magneto could do more just be at Genosha in the post credit scene, but be rescuing and recruiting mutants to establish the Brotherhood Of Mutants as a rival group to the X-Men, also showing that Erik learned from the X-Men's teamwork that he isn't invincible and needs to rely on others, them indirectly increasing the threat he poses as he inspired other mutants with his supremacist ideals. Conversely, showing him rescuing and nurturing mutants at Genosha and in the Brotherhood also adds complexity to his character and would better justify him becoming an ally to the X-Men later on. 10:24, On the theme of monsters, it should also be noted that while mutants have been used as an allegory for minorities and individuals of certain cultural identities, it can also serve as an allegory for people with disabilities and disorders, as while some mutants are powerful like deities, others suffer from their conditions and both themselves and others have legitimate reasons for wishing their conditions gone. 16:45, This can be reflected in individuals like Logan, whose many lifetimes and animalistic aspects have left him surrounded by death for centuries (which can also add a new viewpoint in the X-Men’s ideological debate with characters like Erik, who believe themselves to be deities beyond conventional laws or morality), 39:00, or individuals like the Morlochs, who are more deformed than empowered by their conditions. Either way, the debate of wether mutants should exist should be a complicated one, as without the X-Gene, none of this chaos would be happening, none of the terrorists with god complexes like Erik or cruel maniacs like Sinister would have the power to unleash all manner of mayhem with very little resources. This inherent incompatibility with normal society should be addressed, especially in the context of the Avengers Universe, where super-abled and powered individuals regardless of their origin have become more prominent and the consequences of their actions have become more public and disastrous, so the humans caught in the middle of it all shouldn’t be depicted as utterly despicable, one-note villains for being against mutantkind, for wanting some level of order, as even more powerful and destructive mutants like En Sabah Nur appear to try and tear everything down. 15:01, While Charles just revealing the new X-Men will be arriving and then they do is cool, another way to go about it is perhaps intercutting Charles talking to Scott to Charles contacting each of the new X-Men and showing glimpses of their conversations, given context as to why they would leave wherever they were to go to a random school in New York while also showing glimpses of what they’re lives were like when they weren’t part of Xavier’s task force, 22:44, while keeping some of the professor’s interactions with them or their contents a mystery like Logan’s could be interesting if done right, (27:29, as Logan's history of suffering and experimentation due to him being a mutant mirrors Erik’s), making them each two different results of a similar situation, one Charles wants to ensure doesn't go the same way Erik's did) but getting to show some of their lives would serve to limit exposition where possible. 15:27, Whilst the Marauders can simply be one-note villains, they perhaps should be more layered or given reasons to serve Sinister, wether them being mercenary's or hypnotized thralls, something to make them seem like people, since after if mutants are intended to be seen as people, even the bad ones should be treated as such. 28:17, To add more drama, barring just having Ororo or Jean counter the missile with their ranged abilities, 29:56, Logan could berate Scott over why he didn't have Ororo or Jean outside the jet to cover their escape, serving to build the tension between the two characters, as Logan refuses to acknowledge Scott's burdens as a leader, too engulfed in his own selfish pursuits, which Scott can argue with him over. 31:35, There could be interesting parallels to Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight or the birth of Doctor Octopus in Spiderman 2, to at first have Warren be horrified and in despair at his new condition, to sit in that despair for a few scenes as others try and fail to connect with him, until Essex comes to tempt him with a restored body. 32:56, Sinister could further Warren's pessimistic sentiments by agreeing mutants are gods, that amidst the chaos of various super-beings, normal humans don't matter and that the weaker mutants are just monsters to be slain by humans or dominated by stronger mutants, by the real "gods" (also having a speech about how angels are also destroyers for God, weapons of Heaven, not just beautiful, peaceful protectors of wonder and joy like Kurt says, leading to his new name, Archangel). It would further the idea of gods and monsters by having there be a notable divide between mutants based on power, leading to En Sabah Nur in later installments. 39:18, Kelly also should be portrayed as more than a bigot, less like Tyler Hayward at the end of Wandavision, the nuance-less, mustache twirling villain, and more the complicated antagonist with reasonable goals, willing to do questionable things to keep order and keep humans from being destroyed by the various super-abled threats assailing them. That show was lazy and myopic with how they handled Hayward, Kelly should not be mishandled the same way, not at the expense of his story potential. 40:15, While the subversion of the previous Sentinel scene works, Scott and the other intentionally being further away so the Sentinel doesn't trigger would make more sense as Scott wouldn't want yet another public skirmish, especially not without Charles' telepathy masking their presence. Either way, the Sentinel could activate, only to reveal it to be Archangel's presence that triggered it before he summarily destroys it. 49:13, Speaking of Logan's flashbacks, depending the exact context of this Logan in this universe, there could be a scene showing Logan's memories in more detail, like rewinding a tape in his mind to show glimpses of Logan in various situations and eras as well as briefly reference Logan's comic timeline, rewinding from his underground fights, to glimpses of his experimentation, to his military, espionage and assassin career, to his stint in Japan, to his fights with Victor Creed, to his presence in various theaters of war throughout the centuries, to finally a glimpse of his childhood, showing his mother and childhood friend, Rose O'Hara, who resembles Jean with her red hair. This would allow for the story to essentially reference certain elements this narrative perhaps won't get into, like Logan's dealings with the Yashida's or fathering of Daken, while also showing Logan's age without exposition and giving Logan other reasons to have an affinity for Jean, her being a reminder of the normal happy life he'd lost when his X-Gene triggered (while also showing the X-Gene phenomenon extends even further than Charles or Erik). 51:29, 53:35, 58:47, Alternatively, Jean stepping in to stop Scott and it turning into an argument where Logan mocks Scott for behaving like the violent monster humans see him as (and for being the cliche jealous boyfriend), while Scott retorts Logan chooses to be that monster when he could be more, both Jean and Scott reaching out to him as person being what earns Logan’s respect. 59:48, Logan could also just play it off with a simple "Yeah, I know.”, juxtaposing the characters and audience’s enthusiasm for him doning his signature costume. 1:00:56, The use of the Wolverine suit also works in the same way Last Stand and Days Of Future Past built Logan up as an integral part of the X-Men, the makings of a leader and even a teacher. 55:46, Kurt should tell the child not to follow him, otherwise, it’d just mean Kurt would be responsible for this child being captured or accidentally killed in the skirmish with Blockbuster, Arclight and Vertigo. 56:36, While funny, it makes Piotr seem like a moron to think Bobby would be asking him to launch him through a wall (that and Piotr should be able to have a regular person form), so Piotr could instead ask if Bobby wanted him to punch him, to Bobby’s annoyance. 1:07:31, Sinister being more of a secret anti-villain gives a lot more nuance to his character, wanting to create a being to challenge the worst of mutantkind so that the planet isn't destroyed by the chaos mutants inherently cause. 1:13:04, This "middle ground" of Scott threatening humanity while simultaneously preaching tolerance can end up being challenged for its hypocrisy by En Sabah Nur, that deep down, all these figures, Charles, Erik, Scott, Essex and himself are the same, all are capable of abusing their power, forcibly imposing their will on the world and removing anyone that is an obstacle. It begs the question if the chips are down, will mutants try to speed human's extinction along (as the X-Gene isn't evolution, but a byproduct of Celestials tampering with life on Earth), if Scott would be willing to force humanity of their way through genocide, is that what it means for humans to just "deal with it", to lay down and die as "homo superior" takes their place?
This came up in my recommended and MY GOD. This is s impressive and well thought out. Its a great story but also you just GET every character. This really made my day.
Your video blow my mind. That would be one the best sequels ever (same level as Empire Strikes Back and Two Towers), from the way you developed the original X-men, specially Cyclops and Angel, while also dedicating time to the Giant Size team like Storm, Wolverine and, specially Nightcrawler (my favorite x-men btw), making the character feel like a true team and helping each other grow. Also, I love your take on Colossus and him . Usually Piort, in the comics, is just a tall muscle guy whose physical apperance contrast with his loveable kind heart personality. He being a CGI character like in Deadpool and having difficult to understand english would improve this concept, with Colossus becoming the Groot of the X-men, expressing himself not through his words but through his actions. I would only add Forge to the team roster, considering that Beast left the X-men in the previous team and they are probably needing a genius inventor.
This is great, man! What I will say is I think instead of Dark Phoenix, if it were me I’d want to have Colossus step aside from the X-Men to be replaced by Magik, and also bring in Kitty Pryde. I just have such a sour taste in my mouth for the Phoenix saga, but I think if anyone could do it, it’d be you. Your pitches have been fantastic!
Brilliant again! Huge respect for the deleted scenes concept. Not quite sure that both Archangel and Sinister are truly dead haha. My one major critique would be the Scott-Jean-Logan love "triangle" (corner). Jean doesn't have much agency when Logan's flirting with her as she never outright tells him no, Scott snapping when he sees Logan trying to flirt with Jean makes the fight seem less like it's about authority and more like Cyclops getting annoyed that Logan's 'touching his girl' (to quote the worst line in the first x-men film.) I understand there had to be an inciting incident, but it could have been something like Logan standing in his way when Scott's trying to go somewhere, for no reason other than pushing his buttons, seeing if Scott is capable of standing up for himself. And Jean telling Logan he looks good when he puts the suit on feels like a reward for his behaviour (sincere or not, which is also not fully clear, although I imagine that would be further explored in a later film), maybe the line could be 'it suits you', or have it come from Scott, and this time Logan accepts the extended olive branch.
Hmm, I didn’t get this myself. I took Logan flirting with Jean as a symbol of further disrespect from Logan. Logan is gonna do what Logan does until someone (whether Jean or Scott) stands up to him. But that’s who Logan is, and honestly I think Jean is above being like “Ew, don’t flirt with me. My boyfriend will get mad.” I think she can just shrug off his advances, where Scott beating Logan up feels more about “teaching some respect” than it does “defending his girl”. Also, Jean is supposed to be the heart and glue of the team. Her telling Logan the suit looks good on him is more a symbol of saying “I’m glad you’ve decided to be one of us.”
@@wheattoast1971 I definitely understand the flirting being intended disrespect, and I definitely don't want Jean to be saying 'my boyfriend will get mad', what I mean is we don't get to see Jean tell this wee canadian to knock it off herself. I like how the fight was handled on all angles, and that Jean didn't blow up at Scott like another interpretation may have done, but if there was just one line right before Scott snaps of Jean firmly telling Logan to shove it, I'd be happy.
As someone who has been asking for this for months, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Definitely worth the wait. Love the foreshadowings and especially the respect you gave to Scott and have Logan respect him and his leadership. I remember Havok being a part of it in the earlier version. Do you plan on bringing him in the 3rd part? Whatever it is, it would be interesting to see everything unfold in future installments. Bring the 6th part already!
Damn man i had a really similar idea for a X-Men sequel, Sinister as the main villain, team expansion, morloks, the biggest difference is that i would make Kurt as a POV character living with the morloks and also Gambit working for Sinister but changing throughout the movie
I think if it were me, I’d have Gambit in his own solo movie then maybe be recruited by Sinister at some point but leaving the Bayou and maybe being recruited to the brotherhood. I think this works alongside the main X-Men movies, focuses on the different sides and perspectives, and also gives Channing the Gambit project he’s been wanting for 10ish years.
I’ve loved these 2 pitches, honestly great job I loved them both and you should be consulted when it comes to making the MCU X-Men. But if I were to add some things I have ideas. When it comes to changes to your first part my only change is I would have Magneto living on Asteroid M, to help more set up for possible sequels and something that could work visually, Erik being alone, overlooking humanity. It’s small and not necessary but I think a fun thing to add. As for your sequel, great as always. I think if you wanted to use Sinister experimenting on powerful mutants, it could be a smart way to introduce someone like Psylocke, having it show off Sinister’s tendencies for experimenting with studying mutant DNA and controlling mutants as well as introducing another future X-Men and simplifying her overly complex origin by cutting out the Mandarin and Hydra, but still keep the mind swap and the possible story telling potential with that concept for future projects. I don’t think she should be a main player, but just a mind controlled henchman of Sinister and could set her up for the future. I think we should have a moment before Nightcrawler meets the Morlock with someone being scared of his appearance, maybe Bobby is caught off guard (not malicious) and he was just startled by Kurt’s appearance, but we see early one how people fearing Nightcrawler’s appearance is something that means a lot to him. I know it’s a small scene, but I think it’s something that can go a long way to help establish that plot point. (I get how you structure these pitches, but I think this would need to be a simple scene that could be very powerful) I think 2 scenes that could work to help the School feel like a School would be having the kids watching and maybe cheering on the fight. Along with a scene where someone like Jean or Storm would have to talk with a student about what happened with Warren. (Again, not necessarily but stuff like that can really help flesh out the school.) When it comes to Sinister, I’m not sure that he should have been killed off so soon, but for the story your telling it is building up suspense. Lastly, I think the MRD were quickly shut down. It feels very rushed how it was handled, and that is understandable with the story focusing on Sinister, but it just feels that the MRD shuts down way too quickly. In the end, I still love these pitches and hope you plan on making a part 3 because these are amazing. And thank you for putting such love and care into these projects.
I think the two scene ideas about Warren and Logan and Scott’s fight are fantastic. Idk that they’d need to simplify psylockes origin though, the necessary players are in the mcu already I doubt it will be a copy and paste, but it could be interesting to see her origin explored in another property maybe introducing another Braddock as well
I do love Magneto, but I don’t think he needs to be in every project. He’ll be in the next one though. They could also do a brotherhood movie or D+ series to take place alongside this one.
8:08 I'd like to really go into the psychology around mutant hate and prejudice and explain why the X men and mutants are feared while the avengers aren't. The fear of mutants is steeped in Xenophobia and fear of unknown. The avengers were a group of already known heroes that were part of a small group of superhumans. The X men are part of a secret Race of super powered mutants that were previously hidden for decades. The mutants number in the million and there ever growing, Ever EVOLVING. The hate and fear of mutants comes from fear of change and the unknown and the hatred comes from resentment of being replaced.
There is also another source of fear of mutants: fear of enslavement. In the comics, Trask feared mutants as an advanced race who threatened to enslave humanity. He even feared that they would use humans for gladiatorial combat.
hey i thoroughly enjoyed the video you did a great job. however, i would like to add a little criticism: • Logan is just very unlikeable during the first two acts & doesn't have a reason for arguing with Scott at the start. some dialogue should've been added to make it more natural (maybe Scott tells him to put his cigarette away before he enters the mansion and then is ignored) • Warren losing his wings, returning to the ship, and then becoming archangel happened too quick. i personally think this should've been a movie long arc where he opposes the group in X3. he could've stayed in the mansion to recuperate & we could've seen him fail teaching a few classes due to lack of concentration or students questioning if he'll ever fly again. is the the school full of students right now? what's the mental state of the newer mutants like & how will they react to the shift in perception? • Cyclops feel guilt for reasons that are out of his control, we can change this. for example in the sewer fight Cyclops could've commanded the team to not damage the sewer system, slowing them down & potentially being the reason they almost got blown up while escaping. additionally, instead of something falling on them during the warren fight, it could've been Warren vs all the Xmen but Cyclops give instructions to not hurt Warren (to Logans dismay) and because of this the fight gets interesting. Logan believes that Cyclops should've allowed them to go all out against Warren and because we didn't put him down like a dog an innocent man died & the media think we're incompetent + they fear mutants. would've also been nice if the group had to slowly walk back to the hidden xship with crowds of the rally screaming insults at them. sorry this was long and i truly enjoyed the video i hope you can use this positively for X3 hehe.
I love this so fkn much!!! Thanks for the Astonishing work and passion you put into this It was worth the wait And at the same time I already can't wait for the next ones
You should have a scene or two exploring Jean & Storms friendship, it would be a nice moment and I don’t think it would feel forced since they’re good friends in the comics too
i really like a lot of your casting choices but i think my preference for the cast would be 1. Ralph Fiennes as Professor X 2. Derek Theler as Cyclops 3. Rose Leslie as Jean Grey 4. Sam Richardson as Beast 5. Callum Turner as Angel 6. Isaac Cole Powell as Iceman and as for the giant sized x men i agree with your choices but id maybe go with matt wood from the snl movie as wolverine instead of milo, i also like Sam Heughan as banshee, Martin Sensmeier as John Proudstar, and Andrew Koji as Shiro Yoshida but id also understand if those characters weren’t really used you know? but idk im just spitballing you know?
It's a really good pitch but i have the feel Mister Sinister should have more screen time in the movie. I feel like we can expand a bit more on his backstory. There should be like a flashback scene before act 3 where we see how Sinister came to be from a scientist who first discovered that there was some kind of mutation in some humans and how he also come across some of them (Hellfire Club. movie four villains) before encounter Apocalypse and activate his gene and become Sinister.
Good video. I like the family bit, which I think would be tied to something that should probably show up sooner rather than later in hypothetical movies. I absolutely think that Rogue, Mystique and Destiny should first show up in a Captain Marvel Movie. Mutants should be relevant to other Marvel movies, and should at least be partial villains, and probably in some way play part in your mention of the cosmic stuff. Rogue should eventually join the X-Men after getting power from Carol, and shifting alignment. Mystique and Destiny should also play big picture parts of using precognition to create the right circumstances of something. It would obviously tie into Kurt, regarding family.
I'm taking classes on how to do this stuff so I have like way more respect that you can actually like doing like the storyboarding and that because I struggle with the storyboarding thing I know why it's important, but it's just something that I struggled to grasp.
Very astonishing. One day, you should make a pitch for a skylanders movie. Everyone loves skylanders and wants it to return in some way but no one wants it to come back as a game, not even die hard fans because it will just get canceled for the same reasons. And Netflix cancelled its show before it ended and it’s been too long to just pick up where it left off. So a movie is the only way Skylanders can make a comeback
I’d love to see how this roster grows and changes as the saga progresses. I think my only gripe with this pitch would be killing Angel as soon as he turns to archangel, I think that dynamic you pitched between him and Nightcrawler would be really great to see across another film or two. I’d love to see rogue and gambit, bishop, Psylocke or thunderbird introduced in the future!
1:17:55 Since you are planning for the next film to be an adaptation of the Phoenix Saga, involving aliens and space concepts, wouldn't be better for Magneto's mutant nation to be Asteroid M?
Love the movie, but I wish Beast was still on the team. I’m a bit biased, since he’s my favorite member of the team, but I would love to see more of him. Everything else is great though
As in the comics, Trask should fear mutants as an advanced race similar to the Homo Superior mutants depicted in O.O. Binder’s magazine article “How Nuclear Radiation Can Change Our Race.”
06:18, saying this despite Milo Gibson being 178 cm (5'7) and Hugh Jackman being 188 cm (6'2) is like the meme where they show women's perception of 6 foot and 5'11.
I think that the best way the MCU can handle Wolverine is to have a new actor, introduce the character in the 2nd Xmen movie, and instead of giving him a leading role in the films give him a show
If it doesn't reach 100,000 views could you please do a longer video in the style of your lanterns video explaining the plot themes n characters in the rest of the movies
Just want to say thankyou to my Illuminati patreon members who made this video possible, hope you guys loved the early access to this, if you guys dug this one and want to see a part 3 then share it around, let me know what you thought!!!!
I would love to see part 3 next year but I also want to see a good fantastic four movie just like x-men.
You know, I like how you make Angel’s dad and even the MRD soldiers act a bit more humane in this movie. I mean they may not like mutants, but they see that kidnapping and committing painful experiments on them is a bit too far
I really hope Marvel crushes the X-Men.
How to Make a GOOD TEEN TITANS Movie?
Bro forgot that they’re making Hugh Jackman play wolverine until he’s 90. Jk
Holy shit is that a good idea
That James Marsden as Corsair was a funny end credit scene lol. I hope Disney adapts your screenplay.
I may have been spoiled but I can’t wait to get to that point
I love the focus on cyclops. Finally he’s not getting overshadowed by wolverine. I also love the angel and devil thing going on with nightcrawler & angel. Now I need a part 3
This is awesome. I like Logan's mini arc here. I would've added a callback from the first X-Men movie.
Jean: "You look good."
Logan: "Yellow's a bit much."
Scott: "What would you prefer? Black leather?"
Lol yes
This is another fantastic story! It definitely acts a great sequel to your first X-Men pitch. During that scene where Storm and Angel where flying and talking in the clouds, I imagined that Storm was forming the clouds around her and specifically formed wings for herself when she talked about them. The only complaint I have is that we could have seen a bit more of Mr. Sinister; although, I do suspect that he is not dead yet.

2 seconds into the actual movie and i got goosebumps. the Scott monologue + whatever FIRE theme that is chillll
This is like watching X-Men 97 for the first time all over again 🤩🤩🤩
*Perfect* early birthday present! (My birthday is on Nov 6, btw)
True maybe in part 3 or part 4
holy crap. i wish the real ones were this good.
Me too, I hope my mine are this good too in the future.
Man, I never cared that a video need to get 100k views this much
You did an awesome job with this one! Amazing!
Thanks for all the effort you put into these videos
This is such a well thought out X-Men movie. I particularly love your depiction of Cyclops, as it's just like how he is in the comics.
You know how long ive been waiting for this
Woo he about to make a name for himself here ay
You just make sure people know what happened here today
Im really excited for how you handle gambit now especially aince hes usually a marauder
(I get how you structure these pitches, but I think this would need to be a simple scene that could be very powerful)
I think 2 scenes that could work to help the School feel like a School would be having the kids watching and maybe cheering on the fight. Along with a scene where someone like Jean or Storm would have to talk with a student about what happened with Warren. (Again, not necessarily but stuff like that can really help flesh out the school.)
When it comes to Sinister, I’m not sure that he should have been killed off so soon, but for the story your telling it is building up suspense.
Idk that they’d need to simplify psylockes origin though, the necessary players are in the mcu already I doubt it will be a copy and paste, but it could be interesting to see her origin explored in another property maybe introducing another Braddock as well
@@superpig4589Have you seen her origin in the comics?
Not bad. Not bad at all. I'm a little disappointed that we didn't follow up on magneto, but otherwise, no complaints.
I do love Magneto, but I don’t think he needs to be in every project. He’ll be in the next one though. They could also do a brotherhood movie or D+ series to take place alongside this one.
I have been salivating for this
Absolutely legendary! We need part 3!
This is so 🔥
I do want you to know that i did start crying at the end when they marched. Great story
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!!!
Marvel should hire you to write future MCU X-Men movies, because you actually understand these characters so much better.
Unfortunately got to study so can’t tune in now but im finna watch it for sure
FINALLY WE GOT PART 2
I would add kity rouge and gambit
I have to say, Mr. Letcher, you truly are the best there is at what you do
I really like both part 1 and part 2 of your X-Men franchise. Keep up the good work and have fun.👍
THIS GUY GETS IT!
AMAZING This could be the first perfect trilogy!
hey i thoroughly enjoyed the video you did a great job. however, i would like to add a little criticism:
• Logan is just very unlikeable during the first two acts & doesn't have a reason for arguing with Scott at the start. some dialogue should've been added to make it more natural (maybe Scott tells him to put his cigarette away before he enters the mansion and then is ignored)
• Warren losing his wings, returning to the ship, and then becoming archangel happened too quick. i personally think this should've been a movie long arc where he opposes the group in X3. he could've stayed in the mansion to recuperate & we could've seen him fail teaching a few classes due to lack of concentration or students questioning if he'll ever fly again. is the the school full of students right now? what's the mental state of the newer mutants like & how will they react to the shift in perception?
Thanks for the Astonishing work and passion you put into this
It was worth the wait
And at the same time I already can't wait for the next ones
Amazing pitch Mitch ! Greetings from Italy 😉✌🏻.
Part 3 is the x-men film I always wanted. I've wanted to see the x-men do crazier stuff since first class. Hoping this video does well.
You should have a scene or two exploring Jean & Storms friendship, it would be a nice moment and I don’t think it would feel forced since they’re good friends in the comics too
i really like a lot of your casting choices but i think my preference for the cast would be
1. Ralph Fiennes as Professor X
2. Derek Theler as Cyclops
3. Rose Leslie as Jean Grey
4. Sam Richardson as Beast
5. Callum Turner as Angel
6. Isaac Cole Powell as Iceman
and as for the giant sized x men i agree with your choices but id maybe go with matt wood from the snl movie as wolverine instead of milo, i also like Sam Heughan as banshee, Martin Sensmeier as John Proudstar, and Andrew Koji as Shiro Yoshida but id also understand if those characters weren’t really used you know? but idk im just spitballing you know?
This was absolutely amazing and everything I needed
Killed it once again with this video. Marvel, Hire this man! 💯💯
Wooooyoudontknowhowlongivebeenwaitinforthis
I can hear the gambit accent
Wait, nightcrawlers in this? LFG 🔥🔥🔥
Dude this video was incredible! Can’t wait for part 3!
Your videos are magnificent
Hope everyone had a nice Halloween
I love it when Beast has an animalistic cat-like look to him.
posted to reddit, hope to get viewership up cause this is amazing
Great video
Bro love your pitch, maybe u can ask one of these UA-cam animators to help
Fun a feature length movies, cause this is amazing.
This was awesome
Top 3 UA-cam videos of the year
It finally dropped!!!!
Man i love your videos im sending them to everyone
This is sooooo good
I loved this! Also, it was cool seeing my comment in your video. I will be looking forward to the following videos, I'll wait 5 years if I have to.
CANNOT WAIT for 3.
(Not to rush u, lol)
The Logan put on the suit at the final battle idea, kinda makes it feel similar to the 2000’s X-men
I appreciate your story and storyboards. Have you ever thought about doing sequential art/comic books? I could see your style working well there.
Another Excellent Job!
I've been waiting for this video. Cant wait to see what you've been cooking
Lucy Liu as Lilandra?!? YES!!!
1:17:55 Since you are planning for the next film to be an adaptation of the Phoenix Saga, involving aliens and space concepts, wouldn't be better for Magneto's mutant nation to be Asteroid M?
Lets get this to 100k
So we can get part 3
Awesome
Dare I say perfect
Like gambit oh you know how long I've been wanting for this I'm gonna make a name for myself out here
This channel is under rated
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BRO
Love the movie, but I wish Beast was still on the team. I’m a bit biased, since he’s my favorite member of the team, but I would love to see more of him. Everything else is great though
Ah yes perfection
Give credit to Kunal Chopra for using his art in the video and thumbnail.
yeah, i have :)
As in the comics, Trask should fear mutants as an advanced race similar to the Homo Superior mutants depicted in O.O. Binder’s magazine article “How Nuclear Radiation Can Change Our Race.”
I beg you to consider a fantastic four movie 🙏
You're too talented not to give it a shot.
I need Part 3 ASAP
I really smooth script with some interesting ideas.
Streets been waiting
U really inspire me im currently working on similar videos and have started my channel thank you
PLS MAKE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE
06:18, saying this despite Milo Gibson being 178 cm (5'7) and Hugh Jackman being 188 cm (6'2) is like the meme where they show women's perception of 6 foot and 5'11.
178 is 5'10
I think that the best way the MCU can handle Wolverine is to have a new actor, introduce the character in the 2nd Xmen movie, and instead of giving him a leading role in the films give him a show
If it doesn't reach 100,000 views could you please do a longer video in the style of your lanterns video explaining the plot themes n characters in the rest of the movies
Wow, it only took you one year until you make a second part, now don't go too fast here.
Masterpiece
