Great reaction my dude, AJR is a phenomenal band! Incredibly unique and artistic, you should check out some other music videos of theirs from this album.
Honey I shrunk the kids is a classic. That made me fall in love w oatmeal cream pies. Welcome to the club! Ajr had literally changed my life, can't find anyone quite like them. Loved your reaction!
All the recommendations im seeing here are songs not many people who arent into the band would enjoy. For that reason i suggest; Yes I'm a mess, Turning Out, Bang!, sober up and pitchfork kids. Pitchfork kids has no music video but its still tgeir best song from their first album, those are pribably the best songs from them other than maybe the world's smallest violin which everybody has already heard anyway.
Hi there, thanks for the suggestions. I might not have heard The World's Smallest Violin, so I might watch that next. The only reference to that I can think of is Mr.Krabbs from Spongebob.
So glad you’re in on AJR stuff. They’re pretty hit or miss on most of their stuff (especially music critics), but I’m glad you found it as enjoyable as you did. Would definitely recommend their other albums (on top of The Maybe Man album). I find it best to start with their The Click album (their second album after “Living Room”. We don’t talk about Living Room, lol), and go up from there. Note that AJR released Living Room in Highschool, so you can see how they progress as artists throughout all of their albums. Much love, man. Keep it up!
Hi there, thanks for your comment and your support! I guess I will skip 'Living Room' or maybe not? haha. I will checkout their other albums for sure, stay tuned!
@@GeorgeTheCloud Will do! Just to clarify, “Living Room” isn’t that bad an album. It’s very… 2013 pop-ish. Most of the songs from that album have repetitive topics, but the sound design is still pretty unique. If I were to recommend any song(s) off Living Room, “I’m Ready”, “AfterHours”, “Woody Allen” and “Pitchfork Kids” would be the songs I’d go with.
@@GeorgeTheCloud it’s hard to recommend just a few, but personally, some of my favorites are Joe, Steve’s going to London, Finale, and No grass today. I recommend one from each album (excluding living room)
ajr has been my favorite band for 5 years now so im so happy to see you liked it!!! I'd definitely recommend Ok Orchestra and neotheater. They're two of my favorite albums of theirs.
Hi there, thanks for your support and the suggestions. Yeah, they have been one of those nice surprises I stumble upon every now and then, glad I found them!

they aren't from Canada they are actually New Yorkers, but I can understand how you would think they are.
Hi there, oh wow for some reason I thought I heard they were Canadian. I stand corrected.
@@GeorgeTheCloud hey i mean its a small mistake no problem really

I second that vote for pitchfork kids. It really helps you understand their range. Most people have never heard it but it’s def one of their best

Do you think you might listen to some songs that don’t have music videos? They have some really good ones (also they are from New York City, USA)
A big portion of my appeal of this band is the music videos but sure I can try just audio as well. Which do you recommend?
