I bought this unit from for friend for $75, It does look like a DEH-80 prs minus the bad ass EQ but that’s ok! it does the job I can always ad a DSP later!

Absent from this review is a report on sound quality.
I agree that this unit is packed with features. But if you do not like how it sounds, then you will have buyer's remorse.
I listened to this unit. It has a very clear sound. So clear, in fact, that it sounds sterile. It was as if the feelings within the songs were wiped away. It sounded digital on steroids.
It does not put you in the zone. It does not let you forget that you are listening to a mechanical device. It has a forward, in your face, yelling the music at you character. Rather than creating a soundstage where if you close your eyes your speakers disappear, it, instead, puts a spotlight on exactly where each speaker is located.
Some folks will find this type of sound invigorating. I, however, found that each song was tiring, and I would almost always skip to the next track. After approximately 10 minutes, I had to turn it off (this lasted for 10 days of listening, each ending with me feeling fatigued).
Music reproduction and music quality is subjective. This product and I just did not get along.
I have heard other products in the same vehicle with the same speakers that offer a pleasurable listening experience.
Lastly, it would be beneficial if a review included which file types are supported (for when a USB input is used), and the maximum sampling rate that is supported.

I was thinking about leaving the factory head unit up there and finding another spot to put the pioneer unit. And making a way the factory unit still comes on with the backup camera just no audio coming through or anything it would be going through the head unit pioneer system

I have this unit I bought years ago sitting in the shed it packs a punch I had it in my Ford F-150 sold the truck and took the radio out. I have a Nissan frontier 2019 I want to put it in cuz it sounds way better than the factory radio I have in there reason why I haven't changed the factory unit because it has the back of camera and I don't know how to get past that I want to keep my backup camera. I switched the speakers out in got a sub just the radio don't get loud enough for me I'm telling you guys it packs a punch mine's just sitting collecting dust 😢

I mean that's a kind of vague question. It depends on if you want subwoofers. Every system benefits the same from subwoofers for sound levels, bass and power

You're right.....the only difference is the preout volts.....this has 4V and the 80prs has 5V.....
So what does it means technically 4v and 5v ?
If I have good brand amplifier will it make difference in sound quality ?
I have 2 of the deh80prs radios. I like that it has a built in DSP and dual 16 band equalizer. This one in the video only has a 5 band equalizer.
This deck came out in like 2013, why the fuck did you review it last year?
Relax dude, it hadn't been and still hasn't been updated or replaced and we had it in stock, not to mention its a very good and affordable radio, so we reviewed it. I didn't realize we weren't allowed to review products made before 2017
