Man they were incredible. Them and Alice in Chains had their own unique sounds that were different than the other 90's bands. You would recognize them right away, DOTN was easily one of the 5 best 90's bands.

11 years later, I agree 100%. They were the bridge between a Dave Matthews and heavy rock at the time. Riffs on an acoustic. It was awesome.

For all the jackasses who think drugs took travis' talent are idiots. He's bi-polar and has debilitating social anxiety. I know this cause he used to live on and off w/me when he came to town. And like most ppl with mental illness, they turn to drugs. Best memory, he sat in my front passenger seat and played my favorite songs that he's written while I drove him to run errands. It rocked! So did the new shit he played me and that was in 2012-ish? He was trying to clean up then so I'm hoping he made it. Much love Travis!

For Anyone wanting to know the Intro (Not Orch of the Medium) jam before the actual song its called "Around The World" and was written by Todd. Todd Re-Recorded it for the Unreleased Tantric album (Tantric III) it's the Same tune just with lyrics and a chorus added. Shame for what one of my biggest childhood musical masterminds has become. At least Todd and Jesse are still going strong!

The reason this band split was because Travis did not want to be influenced musically through writing or otherwise. That is the main reason why Tantric was formed. I think the original band members could have put out a few more acoustic rock albums. EASILY, at that.
