Jeff Ending - Maniac Mansion (NES)

This requires the Weird Edsel still being there and Dave being dead by what would normally be the end of the game. Basically what happens is you suspend the win from triggering by immediately regaining control and pausing at the beginning of the apologies cutscene. When you unpause you'll be in control of Dave on the "Hell Screen". Fumbling through the invisible New Kid menu will bring you back in control of Jeff, who is standing out front of the house with Sandy and Dr. Fred. The game now seems like a dead end but a handful of actions can get winning to trigger, including using the phone. This seems like a fitting use of Jeff's only ability in the game and gives a more even bookend to the game then the rest of the endings, with Edna talking about how "It was twenty years ago today", followed by a version of the Victory Screen starting completely scrolled to the right, with Meteor on a visible trajectory toward the mansion like in the opening/title cutscene before the character select screen.
