My advice: If ur solo Stay beetwen level 2 and 3 ignore sea events and the cooldown thing doesnt work u will get terror shark eventually in rare cases u wont and u get mirage also go at sunrise and if u keep looking when u drive u will be focused and more likely to find mirage And if u dont spawn mirage switch servers it works Multiplayer: If u have friends with U personally dont try with multiple boats for me it doesnt work everybody says it will but it doesnt once i went hunting with 3 boats and we didnt get mirage but when im alone i get it for like 15-20 mins And also go solo multiplayer will make you go at level 4-5 which is wrong ur boat will get damaged its best to stay 2-3 danger level And yeah thats how I find mirage island I hope u find it useful

Good question! Staying in one zone alone doesn’t guarantee Mirage Island will spawn, but focusing on Danger Zones 4 and 5 increases your chances because these zones have a higher spawn rate for Mirage Island. It’s all about maximizing your odds!
