My 2nd cousin has written several books and articles about the witch trials in New England. They were disgrace and innocent lives were taken by fanaticism. This episode, although pure fiction, reminds me of that dark chapter in history.
They confront Trask and, when he doesn't answer them, they go into the night to search for Vickie in the forest. If that were me, I'd have taken a baseball bat to him until he told me where she was.
Are we supposed to feel sorry for Victoria Winters? I mean, how can we? Clearly, it was her exposure to 1960s Feminism that put her into Trask's hands. IF she had behaved like a woman from the 1790s she would have availed herself of Nathan Forbes's offer to flee under his protection. It was her unwarranted sense of entitlement she would have simply answered his questions or insisted that they all wait until Barnabas or some OTHER MAN came back.
Like someone else commented I am also fast forwarding all of Angelique scenes. It has gone on long enough when will she leave dark shadows for god sake she is ruining dark shadows
Watch when he discovers the Countess' tarot cards- he was spot on about those.my BFF got into those and you wouldn't believe the bad crap that started happening in her house.she had to move .
@@crowleysridgegirl rofl, what? Tarot is completely harmless. You know normal playing cards are based on them, right? You can use a normal card deck instead of a tarot even, if you want. lol
6:48- Barnabus is the tops at making that wheeling around and delivering ' the look'

if it weren't for Josette, Barney probably would have eventually fallen in love with Vicky. Makes sense he likes her in the present!
The rev has that glam rock look going on!
Barnabus doesn't act like he just shot his beloved uncle in the face- just sayin-
Poor Vicky
Barnabas friendship with Victoria is now going to be a problem for Angelique.
Jealousy will lead her to make some terrible choices

If Trask had tied Angelique to the tree it would have died in one minute.
lol
Trask is a fraud. All he can do is try to frame someone innocent who can't fight back. Just like the real witchhunters.
@@Amphitera Yes, the scary part is that he truly believes he is doing “the work of God”.
poor poor pitiful Vickie

He should have tied her to a bear a living creature of God, that would have been more interesting for all involved
