Before 1971 there was nothing.. Even road was as like village . There was only Zoo. Most people ware Indian BIHIRI refugees who came in Bengol after 1947. Even in 1980-1990 Murpir people say I AM GOING DHAKA when they came New Market. Also Mirpur was most cheap land price at DHAKA because that time Mirpur was called out of Dhaka as like Gazipur . But now can see the picture of Mirpur. I don't mean any negative way about Mirpur . I just say reality . Also before 1971 Mirpur was non Bengoli ( Indian BIHARI ) people majority . I think less then 1% Bengali live there..
