I completed the 9 day drawing challenge a week ago. It was the jump start I needed and I am still sketching daily (highly recommended). Does anyone have suggestions on how to preserve a graph sketch? A few years ago I did a sketch with an HB pencil on copy paper unfortunately. It is my best completed sketch to date and I am just not sure what to do with it. It is currently hanging from a clothes pin in my art room. Peace, love and good karma to all my fellow artist.
There's no real way to preserve a graphite sketch, graphite lasts indefinitely, in your situation the paper is what's likely to degrade. Keep it out of sunlight and in a drawer. If you like to display it then a giclee scan from a print shop is the answer.
@@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber Thank you so much I know you are very busy and I can’t express how much your reply means to someone like me trying to figure all this stuff out.
Loved your tutorial. The way you break it down makes choosing my pencils a lot easier. Thank you! Btw did you intend on it looking like a face at the end? 😂

No problem Alicia!
Thank you very much, it's very useful
Glad it was helpful!
I prefer the soft pencils personally, I find it cool that you try different things and add more info on why the hard ones aren't as great
Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for the great advice!!!
2B or not 2B, that is the question.

Not sure. But if it looks good I did it on purpose!
