Completely agree. I have not seen half of my own backyard in Aus but really enjoy Molly's vlogs and have to say, took my family to Milford Sound a few years back and we did a cruise and slept on the boat overnight, an amazing experience. NZ is just a brilliant place as well. So blessed to have NZ on our doorstep and live in Aus. Keep up the great work Molly and Riley!!

Just a small detail about the Wanaka tree, It started life as a fence post. Remember it as a kid, there were more posts going into the lake and still had wire on it back then, we used to swim there as it was shallow and the water warmed up a bit in the summer.

You must have some fantastic camera equipment to get such sharp, steady footage - even when recording from a boat or the van. It is almost beyond belief how well you display their country for them! Hey Molly, Grüezi, how we say hello here in little Switzerland 🇨🇭 🤗 It was interesting to hear your "historical mention" of this tunnel and for me the incredibly long time it took - 19 years - to build it! Because I live nearby, about an hour by car from the Gotthard, I'll call it the "tunnel system"... because there are 3 tunnels in historical construction. The first, the longest rail tunnel over and through the massive Alpine Gotthard tunnel, built from 1872 to 1880 in 8 years, blasted, drilled and shoveled, all by hand, 15 kilometers! Then the longest road tunnel in the world through the Gotthard, built at the end of the 80s, at 17 kilometers. Today we have the longest railway tunnel in the world with the Gotthard Base Tunnel, which is 57 kilometers long and was started to be built in 1999 and opened in 2016 after almost 17 years of massive work through the Alps, i.e. the Gotthard! So for me, this hmm 🤔, what kept them there for so long for "only" 1.3 kilometers.... 😉! Also the bird in the 1st part of the video (Kia?) are so destructive, saw one once tear the rubber off the windscreen wiper blades. Another great video. Oh my gosh! I get that reaction too! it started a couple years back when I moved to Sydney from QLD. I had no idea what caused it. I get it on my exposed skin when I walk outdoors and I've always thought that it's an allergic reaction to something as it is raised, red, itchy and in large welts/rash-like hives. I had it once too after I dipped into a cold natural pool - it freaked me right out. But yes, cold seems to be a common factor. It takes a good hour to resolve. I've been taking antihistamines and putting steroid creams on them to reduce the itchiness. I've never passed out from it though. Have you ever looked into it or had it looked at by a doctor? Because the doctors I've spoken too haven't seemed to know it as a specific thing.
I miss Fergs, and last time I went the tour bus driver told us all to get a drink from one of the creeks we passed towards MS. I can't recall if he had a guzzle tho ...hmm
