Memories of this lovely, talented lady are numerous. I love her joyous Holy Spirit filled music. There is shouting in Heaven today as the angels join in with her powerful voice. She will be missed. May her memory be a blessing.
Nancy Harmon used to frequent my old church, Calvary Assembly's of God in Stanton CA. Her ministry was very intense and very focused on giving. At the time I was bringing my two friends, Brayden and Travis to church and to her revivals. They were both pretty clean cut white guys that were new Christians. I'll explain why I am mentioning their race. I'm am half Filipino, 1/4 Spaniard and 1/4 Native American so I'm on the darker side. Being that us 3 guys were becoming regulars at Nancy's revivals, she took a strong liking to Brayden and Travis, often going out of her way to pray over them and have them give their testimonies. I was proud of how far they came along as Christians and felt good helping them develope in their walk with God. Seeing Nancy make over them made me happy because after all, she's a woman of God right? She did acknowledge me once but not the same way she acknowledged them. There was a time she called both of them up to have the congregation pray over them. Seeing that I was with them, Nancy looked at me with a not so pleasant facial expression and asked, "Are you a born again?" I answered yes and she had me pray for them as well. Funny how she automatically assumed my two friends were born again, but questioned my salvation. On another night, Nancy made an alter call to everyone who felt they had a calling from God so she can pray over them. My friends Brayden, Travis, and myself went forward. When it came time for Nancy to pray over me, she gave me the same unpleasant glare andbasically said I didn't have a calling. She prayed for me to have a clear calling and made it short and simple. Little did she know that I was picking these guys up every night to bring them to her revivals to help them get closer to God. Little did she know that I lead them to the Lord. She assumed I wasn't a Christian based on my physical appearance. I was clean cut myself and didn't have any type of gangater-like appearance. This experience with Nancy Harmon made it clear that she has some racial issues. As a supposed "woman of God", she should put her personal issues asise. Her ministry is nothing more than an emotional based, musical event that uses Bible scripture to pressure people into giving her their hard earned money. I thank God for this experience though. I gained spiritual wisdom to stay clear of prosperity based gospel that is driven by greed. Nancy Harmon is not a woman of God. She is a money scammer that spits out fake prophecies so people will be willing to give. I now attend Calvary Chapel where judgements are not casted based on your appearance and giving $ isn't the main focus. I'm being fed the actual word from actual men and women of God who don't pass judgement based on a person's race. Real men and women of God have discernment. God bless you Nancy. I, in no way, shape, or form hold a grudge against you. I forgave you many many years ago. This post is just a warning to others to not be mislead and scammed by fake ministries and fake prophets like I was.
