Love that yall are doing more TNA content. TNA will always hold a special place in my heart, and its been on tear imo aswell as last nights Slameversary
Rhino's reign was such a waste of potential. He got over hard at BFG, winning three matches in one night. Only for Jarrett to get the belt back immediately. Ugh. Raven's reign ended with a dud as well.
Jericho Salazar he flopped hard as fuck when they made him the champ in wcw, and effectively closed the company with a whisper. His bright idea was to book his own bland ass EVEN STRONGER in TNA. Self mark.
Impact has revived themselves in the last few months. UA-cam channels are now talking about it and people on the internet are too and I'm happy that they have, because I love them
As someone who got into wrestling because of TNA/Impact, this list intrigued me quite a bit, in a good way. I do like how you've included TNA's lineage of NWA World Heavyweight Champions in the list, and I really enjoyed this list. Keep up the good work!
Honestly, what AJ Styles brought to TNA and wrestling during his run there was amazing and can't be overstated enough. That people called him "Mr.TNA" back in the day was beyond justified.
@@dylanogg347 That's fair. There was a period, though, right after Tomko broke away from the Christian and AJ Styles trio that he was pretty hot with the fans, almost like a "next Matt Morgan" (take that how you will) so that's where my mind was at, but yeah probably a stretch. Similar with Hoyt. I agree with yall about Christopher Daniels - I actually forgot he was never Champion; and even though I wasn't the BIGGEST Hernandez fan (I liked Homicide more) it certainly looked like more than a few times they were gonna let him carry the gold. Maybe his promo skills hurt his chances.
Funny how even Pentagon Jr., the guy at the absolute bottom of the barrel, still had at least one good thing about his reign to speak of: The eyeballs his win got on the product. None of the titles in WWE or WCW that Cultaholic has covered have that distinction about their bottom champion.
I saw RVD in Manchester during his TNA run. It didn't dawn on me that I'd seen him do exactly the same match on TV the week before until I was on the tram home, half an hour later. That's how good he still was.

I’ll be honest once 2010 hit, impact just went downhill & has never recovered. BUT with that being said, I gotta hand it to them for being able to embrace the storm & remain in the industry all these years
I remember as a kid I at school i used to be Cena mark, people used to say no way, haven't you ever heard of Aj Styles and TNA? i used to think no way is anybody better than JOHN CENA , so i never bothered Learning or watching Aj styles and TNA until just after finishing primary school. And oh man TNA became my favourite show and Styles became my favourite wrestler straight away.
@@Noobie2k7 2010 in general for pro wrestling was shit, wwe ,njpw and roh all were horse shit but still people tuned in to watch em.... God knows why people aren't watching wrestling anymore when the quality is 10x better than it was in 2010
@@Noobie2k7 Admittedly I haven't watched regularly since the low points of the Hogan era, when they kept bouncing around channels, and when were getting crazy with "new toy syndrome" (a new guy, usually ex-WWE guy, shows up, gets in the main event picture, gets the title almost immediately, company doesn't know where to go, drop title, do nothing, leave). Their story telling had dipped immensely during that time. I know good things have happed post-Hogan - Matt Hardy, EC3, and Lashley's run in particular, as well as more recent stuff I heard good things about - but I guess what I'm saying isn't that the product necessarily sucks but the buzz around it has never been the same. There was a time when hardcore wrestling fans were chanting "TNA" (sincerely, not ironically) during WWE events, as it was a quality alternative during some lull times during the 'E. That place is now mostly reserved for AEW, as TNA isn't really looked at as "cool" anymore. But during that period you mentioned, I agree - they honestly were putting out a better product than Vince at that time. I mean guys like Angle, Joe, Pope, Morgan, LAX, MCMG, etc. were making for great shows. They just haven't gotten that prominence back, unfortunately. Again, not a comment on the quality of the product, but rather the general feeling towards it. Also, Josh Matthews is terrible lol.
During the Eli Drake entry, not only was he charismatic as anything, but he had the great heelish "DUMMY YEAH" button and gimmick that was basically a Staples Easy button renamed.
I'm a little surprised that they added in the nwa reigns here as part of the lineage here but it makes sense. I wonder if it will affect a list for nwa champions if they ever do one.
Actually Adam, A.J. Styles was a 3x NWA World's Heavyweight Champion, he defeated Jarrett at Hard/Hardcore Justice 2006,Tito Ortiz was the special guest referee
It takes serious talent to win the NWA, TNA, IWGP and WWE titles in a single lifetime. And if he ever went to ROH or AEW, I am sure he would have been champion there too. Styles is just that good. And well, so is Kurt Angle. Two of my favorite wrestlers ever.
The sad parts about Tessa’s title reign is that she never got the chance to lose her title with honor and integrity. The virus fucked all that up, and even worse dudes got so sexist and jealous with her over that title belt, she barely got any respect at all. Not that her racism allegations helped, but the situation was really fucking messy, all around.
Sting #1! Sting was past his prime but gave TNA credibility. The strap always shinned brightest on the icons shoulders 💪🃏☝️(ps...Joker sting was f’n cool!😝)

10:14 I role my eyes because of what Aces and eights became but not because of the group themselves. Let's be honest when they started they were white hot
The problem with aces and weights were the wrestlers. Okay bully ray was a great reveal but the other guys.... Should have had more known wrestlers. Maybe a heel turn for someone.
We need a in-depth review of all King of the Mountain matches in one sitting. I think Adam would be a good choice to watch, write, and host that video.
One of the best wrestling shows I’ve ever been to - Slammiversary 2018. Met Abyss, Moose, Swann, Edwards, Johnny Impact, Cage, and had a full on 10 min convo with Matt Sydal. I really wish I actually cared about the Impact at the moment. Watching this made me remember they have done some crazy shit over the years that was actually worth remembering.
I would really like to see the stuff behind these videos. Not saying I don’t agree with what they’re saying or have said in these videos, but I think it would be really cool to see either the process or a round table sort of discussion with the ranking of people/things in these lists.
At 19:21-19:31, I wouldn't agree with what was said about him at 19:21-19:25, per se. Rob Van Dam looked to be in great shape when he joined TNA in early-2010, in my book & the way I saw it, he looked to me like he could still suit up, step into the ring & go.
Being I was never a fan of branching out to seeing other companies than WWE (funnily enough because I had the TNA impact game before I had a WWE game) I never knew so many great athletes were in TNA. But can they clear a Pokemon game with just a magicarp?
This was a really great list. Definitely the best one you guys have made. I'm glad AJ didn't become just some other guy in WWE. He became one of their biggest stars so quickly.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!!!

Same Here!!!
I haven't
Ditto
I honestly can't tell if this is a persona reference
Love that yall are doing more TNA content. TNA will always hold a special place in my heart, and its been on tear imo aswell as last nights Slameversary
“Sting revealed abyss shot his dad, that’s more like it!”
Rhino's reign was such a waste of potential. He got over hard at BFG, winning three matches in one night. Only for Jarrett to get the belt back immediately. Ugh.
Raven's reign ended with a dud as well.
That's Jarrett for you
@@WhiskeyBrewer I had Jarrett during that time lol, I think it was really soon after Triple H Reign of Terror too so that didn't help
Jericho Salazar he flopped hard as fuck when they made him the champ in wcw, and effectively closed the company with a whisper. His bright idea was to book his own bland ass EVEN STRONGER in TNA. Self mark.
Same with RVD. Confidence? Why was all the Former ECW Champions getting crap ending to their Championship Runs?
Impact has revived themselves in the last few months. UA-cam channels are now talking about it and people on the internet are too and I'm happy that they have, because I love them
As someone who got into wrestling because of TNA/Impact, this list intrigued me quite a bit, in a good way. I do like how you've included TNA's lineage of NWA World Heavyweight Champions in the list, and I really enjoyed this list. Keep up the good work!
Literally tried to find this list last night and was upset that I couldn't. Thank you cult gods
I preferred Eric Young when he was a centre back at Crystal Palace in the early 90's
I preferred Crystal Palace when Eric Cantona was kicking their fans in the head

Loving the Scatman Crothers pic
Honestly, what AJ Styles brought to TNA and wrestling during his run there was amazing and can't be overstated enough. That people called him "Mr.TNA" back in the day was beyond justified.
Sweet. I didn’t think you guys reviewed or talked about TNA. Keep it up
Uploaded just in time for my rest, thanks!
People who SHOULD have been Champion:
D'Angelo Dinero
Desmond Wolfe
Homicide
Matt Morgan
Monty Brown
MAYBE Tomko and Hoyt/Dallas.
Christopher Daniels
D'Angelo Dinero Pope character was so good and unique
Reeeeeeaching
Not so sure about Tomko or Hoyt (at least back in the late 2000s, he'd be awesome these days). But a solid list nonetheless.
Galloway: *beats Matt Hardy for the title in eighteen seconds*
Sheamus and Daniel Bryan: *There is another*
I saw RVD in Manchester during his TNA run. It didn't dawn on me that I'd seen him do exactly the same match on TV the week before until I was on the tram home, half an hour later. That's how good he still was.
My Top 10 Favorite TNA Wrestlers Of All Time
1.Kurt Angle
2.Christian Cage
3.Jeff Hardy
4.Matt Hardy
5.AJ Styles
6.Booby Roode
7.Samoa Joe
8.Bobby Lashley
9.Eli Drake
10.Austin Aries
Ok all of we knew AJ Styles is at least one of the best
I’ll be honest once 2010 hit, impact just went downhill & has never recovered.
BUT with that being said, I gotta hand it to them for being able to embrace the storm & remain in the industry all these years
I remember as a kid I at school i used to be Cena mark, people used to say no way, haven't you ever heard of Aj Styles and TNA? i used to think no way is anybody better than JOHN CENA , so i never bothered Learning or watching Aj styles and TNA until just after finishing primary school. And oh man TNA became my favourite show and Styles became my favourite wrestler straight away.
26:12: You could say Lashley "WASN'T FINISH WITH HIM YET!!!"
When RVD beat AJ Styles for the world title, that's when I stopped watching Impact. Hogan was a terrible booker.
Hogan and Bischoff ruined that company and they've never REALLY gotten back to what it was before.
Fair play dude. That was shortly after the start of the dark period that kept up until late 2013.
Deebow - Yes it was bullshit. But you missed Roode's run which was awesome
2016 is the most underrated year in IMPACT they were on a role and weren’t getting the credit they deserved
Ikr, drew and Bobby lashley rivalry was amazing and let's not forget delete and decay.
2016 was a great year for wrestling
During the Eli Drake entry, not only was he charismatic as anything, but he had the great heelish "DUMMY YEAH" button and gimmick that was basically a Staples Easy button renamed.
There hasn't been a PPV with as much anticipation as Slammiversary in a long time. Hope everyone gives IMPACT a chance again
That Eddie Edwards comment aged very well very quickly
Lol 😂
22:00 I think R-Truth is immortal. Also that hair.
I'm actually excited for tonight's show!!
What About A List For The US Belt WWE?
@Vanilla Hammer they can just do a top 10 us title holders list🤷🏾
Adam said they was working on it on a stream a bit ago
U finally got it!
Mvp and Matt hardy top 2
Every time Pacitti takes a shot at Alberto Dipshit Rio, an angel gains it's wings.
Great video/list. I want more TNA/Impact wrestling content please
14:20 Damn, his Courtney Cox and Balls Mahoney are in UHD there.
Ooh! Every X- Division Champion and Impact World Tag Team Champion Ranked
Thanks for doing my idea!
The fact he only had 3 was embarrassing
Y'all missed an opportunity by not ending the James Storm entry with "Sorry about your damn luck!"
I think that Eli Drake cat ended up alright 😂
For real tho are la knights and him brothers and why has not came back to wrestling sad

I think it's one of the better title designs in wrestling history up there with The Big Gold Belt/WHC
Tna had some gr8 matches with iconic wrestlers a bit old but to a wcw / attitude era fan i loved it
Ron Killings run in the early years as nwa champ is underrated IMO. Id like to see him "snap" and have another serious run.
Never happening in WWE, 100%

P.s. AJ Styles is a five-time world champ. Three-time NWA World Champion and Two-time TNA World Champion.
@@erwinekkel9676 agreed. Overall I believe aces and eights were at their best when they were not revealed

no they did not pick the right number 1 aj styles is a good wrestler but hes one the worst reigns as world champion in tna.
Tbh TNA was the real alternative to wwe.... They had star power and gr8 story telling heck even the hogan era wasn't as bad as people say it was
Shit... I’ve been watching a lot tna videos and what was going on back stage. It was bad
@Luke Warm No. It wasn’t. Idc what smarks say. Ratings were 2M+ and TNA was at its peak.

@@Dave_ja_vu but wrestling in general during 2010-11 was shit..

We need a in-depth review of all King of the Mountain matches in one sitting. I think Adam would be a good choice to watch, write, and host that video.
Are you going to do one of these for the x division?
One of the best wrestling shows I’ve ever been to - Slammiversary 2018. Met Abyss, Moose, Swann, Edwards, Johnny Impact, Cage, and had a full on 10 min convo with Matt Sydal.
I really wish I actually cared about the Impact at the moment. Watching this made me remember they have done some crazy shit over the years that was actually worth remembering.
AJ STYLES is actually a Three- Time NWA World champ not Two. Adam.
I would really like to see the stuff behind these videos. Not saying I don’t agree with what they’re saying or have said in these videos, but I think it would be really cool to see either the process or a round table sort of discussion with the ranking of people/things in these lists.
Aj really live with his nickname.... PHENOMENAL 🔥🔥🤙
At 19:21-19:31, I wouldn't agree with what was said about him at 19:21-19:25, per se.
Rob Van Dam looked to be in great shape when he joined TNA in early-2010, in my book & the way I saw it, he looked to me like he could still suit up, step into the ring & go.
I hate Double J but having him with the belt gave TNA stability they desperately needed. HHH held the belt and ruined pushes.
Being I was never a fan of branching out to seeing other companies than WWE (funnily enough because I had the TNA impact game before I had a WWE game)
I never knew so many great athletes were in TNA. Not only the ones that were in there regardless, like suicide. But Jeff Jarrett, R-Truth, The Hardys, Mick Foley, Sting, Kurt Angle, The Dudleys.
Also, Ron Killings is one of the coolest names ever lol.
After how long Chris Daniels was at tna/impact, I say f- You Impact because he never had a freaking world title reign.
This should be revisited
Jeff Jarrett as champ was pathetic. Booking yourself to be champ is just sad.
It was okay at first, the repeatedly booking himself to win it over and over was absurd and stupid.
One or two medium sized reigns would have been fine but over 1000 fucking days!? That's so scummy!
@@sreenaths6829 Agreed. Plus, they could've built up more people and who knows maybe they would've gotten more viewers if Jeff Jarrett had not be champion for a good while.
@@adambarber4697 definitely. Him being champion for ages ruined the main event scene for me at that time.
@@sreenaths6829 I can understand that. Jarrett, should've just been a transitional champion until the company could build around someone long term.
