Excellent amount of scrap from those two water heaters this was a very enjoyable video with awesome content thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother
Fantastic Strip Out of both Hot Water on Demand Boilers - wow - what GREAT Values - Cast - Brass - Copper - Alu - Wires - that was very Interesting indeed Phil ! Thank You for a Brilliant long Video ! Many Cheers from Australia !
I've found that using a screwdriver to start some screws helps when they're kindof bound. For some reason the drill can't start them. A screw driver breaks them loose
Now this is the episode I’ve been waiting for most days I wake up and wonder ‘maybe today is the day he scraps those water heaters and gets all that yummy goodness’😅
I got metal prices of LME (London Metal exchange) for reference : Aluminum 2.6 USD per Kilo, Copper 9.09 USD per Kilo, Nickel 16.168 USD per Kilo. LME does not have price for Cupro Nickel. In USA after all the quotes I saw, the price for Cupro Nickel (70/30) which is the most commonly used price varies between 15-25 USD per Kilo. If your yard is paying you Dirty Copper price for Cupro Nickel, please understand that you are losing.
@@CanadianTreasureHunter Based on the prices I found, you should get 10 dollars per pound. Your yard paying better than SS is loot. Paying better than Copper is reasonable. The whole point of my mentioning metal prices is to show the importance of Nickel. The price has to be better than copper.
I googled for any info on manufacturers of Cupro Nickel in Canada. The results showed only one by the name New West Metals located in Winnipeg. Loos like there is no buyer for your Cupro Nickel in Canada just like your electronic waste.
@@CanadianTreasureHunter If you have 1500 pounds, instead of selling to your yard for a price better than SS is devaluing your stuff. If possible, please advertise your quantity in social media, just like you once sold 100 pounds of your high quality lead.
I would have never guessed copper nickel I don’t think I’ve ever encountered it and the only other time I’ve seen it was on your channel when you scrapped something out last year. It’s strange how we run into very little stainless yet it is so cheap it just doesn’t make sense,I hardly ever find real non-magnetic stainless but if they are nice fasteners I hold on to them because they are so expensive at the store and they are excellent in all applications. I didn’t know you had shorts videos they never pop up for me I’ll give ya some views over there, you should create playlists as well lot of scrappers I just click play all on their list and just let it run even if I’m out in the yard or something gives them more view hours doesn’t cost me anything running on iPad charging on solar 🤷♂️

My yard will buy it, I had 1500 pounds of it from those big heat exchangers I had before

Do you strip your wire or you just turn it in as is.
I only strip 12 gauge & bigger
Just a question???what price are you waiting for to sell your stainless steel when it comes
around 70 Cents
Yea, I look forward to that video. It's gonna be quite a payday.😊
the small heat exchanger is stainless steel not copper put the gringer on it
I had them before, They might be Copper & Stainless mix worth a lot more than SS
👍🌹💪
Phil, because of the subtitles I really need I can't stay subscribed.
It's not funny anymore for me to see the videos you make.
