I feel you Chey… the lisp and the crazy amount of spit is real it does get better though and you look amazing.Have had mine for 1yr and 4months . Have 6months to go so yeyyy.
Tips on keeping them clean so that your confidence doesn’t dwindle.
1. Use straws on heavily colored drinks.
2. When you eat the foods that have turmeric and the what nots swash with water right after eating. It helps abit
3. Get interdental tooth brush. Tiny tooth brush that fits between the bands .

Drink you beverages with a straw. I do that just as my norm. Braces shouldn't affect your health. I ate and drank everything. Nothing changed. Brush with a whitener if you must I.e. Sensodyn with whitener. Do exactly what you're told and stick to EVERY appointment and they'll be off before you know it. They are braces not an amputation. You're privileged to even get them. Dental care is astronomical so consider yourself blessed. Pretty is pretty braces or not! It's not a death sentence. Enjoy the ride! Keep the great footage coming!💥💖💕

Congrats on your braces!! I was also an adult with braces and just got mine off in November after having them since Feb 2021. I was like you and was like if I want my teeth to be a certain way well this is what it is. The time will fly and you will end up loving your brace face smile! Also all the initial problems like the lisp, difficulty eating certain foods will all go away!

You looked beautiful before and after the braces, and if you still happened to feel insecure after the fact, then just think about how you're gonna look even better when your teeth are fixed! You remind me of my stepmom, shes always been pretty, but when she gets one thing fixed about herself, she feels as if it has changed her entire life, and forgets how it's not gonna permanently scar her, and that its just temporary. I just found you, so truthfully, i don't know much about you, but what i think i do know, is that whenever you feel down, you're not gonna just sit there, you're going to make yourself happy! You're so pretty!

I've been meaning to get braces but I fear the pain. How bad was the pain? Is it bearable?? Bc I have really low pain tolerance
I have a low pain tolerance as well!! I wouldn't describe the feeling as pain but more like soreness. It lasts 3-4 days for me. I just eat very soft/liquid foods during that time. Hope that helps!!
