- Te-Hina Paopao is putting together an all around excellent season, her first in Columbia with the South Carolina Gamecocks. Her efficiency is staggering, shooting over 50% from deep on nearly 5 attempts per game, comfortable off the catch, off screens, pulling up, and dancing into her shots in isolation or from operating a ball screen.
Per Her Hoop Stats, only 2 players in the country this season have played greater than 10 games while shooting above 50% from deep on 4 or more attempts per game; Paopao and Hannah Kohn (Chattanooga).
When sorting for the entire Her Hoop Stats database (back to the 2009-10 season), this has only happened 3 times. A remarkable season from Paopao thus far, one of the best 3-point shooting campaigns we've seen with respect to volume and accuracy. - Спорт

I never followed WNBA, but after I've heard of South Carolina's feat, I want to follow, and I find this South Carolina's players very special.
PaoPao can flat out play has an all around game. If she shot 20-30 shots per game she'd have crazy numbers. She plays for a great coach and program that emphasizes team basketball.

More important than her 3pt shooting, and even her Clutch shooting is her poise. She never loses confidence and she doesn't panic. Pao pao and Raven are the players I trust the most with the ball in their hands. Fulwiley will get there real soon, though.

Because that’s exactly it…she’s a baller. She’s not on the court for the hype, she is there for her team…leads her team as one of the main floor generals. I think her focus is more on her game & her team. But thats just my opinion. lolol
@UncleOodoo CC gets all the attention maybe cuz she averages 28pts 8ast and 7reb. 47% fg 38% from 3 for her career. it’s a helluva stat line for 4 yrs. Good shooting percentages to say she’s been the only scorer on her team as well.

She's on a great team, plays her role but CC scoring 45 and USC girl scoring 30 it moves the needle with clicks, eyeballs and $$...percentages with only 10-14pts (only SC fans like myself-- Love it) She will get her time in the NCAA and SEC Championship run when the buckets 🪣 count double. Pao Pao will be drafted on the top 10 of the WNBA...she will get her recognition. Right now percentages kind of melt away in the noise of Angel Reese, Cameron Brink and Paige B etc etc

She makes about 3 three pointers a game, that is nice. Sure her shooting average is good but when you barely shoot its goona be good. She wants name than she has to make at least 5 three pointers a game.

what you're referring to are the situations where players have extremely high shooting percentages due to low output... but thats when youre shooting 2-3 3s a game and averaging 1-1.5 made 3s... she makes 3 a game shooting 6... steph curry didnt average more than 3 made 3s per game until his 7th year in the NBA when he won his 2nd MVP....

Accurate doesn’t mean the best. It just means she takes less bad shots than even CC. But yeah, she is more accurate of the set than CC. SOME YALL ARE DUMBBOS. Yes she is the most accurate.

Latest career stats posteed at ESPN show FG% 43.5 and 3P% 40.8
What that doesn't show is the very marked improvement over the course of her career as her stats in 2023-24 have her at FG% 52.4 (+8.9) and 3P% 53.6 (+12.8)
The title is a bit of a bait, BUT I think it's very fair to say that she is one of the most accurate shooters (at least for this season) as there aren't too many players who can compare to these stats in these 2 categories.

hit 2 3’s when we needed them the most. she did well enough.
That’s the beauty of this team. She’s not the only threat from the three-point line. So if she’s having a bad day, someone else is going to pick it up.

This isn’t about who’s better or who shoots 3 pointers more, te-hina leads the country in highest 3P%, it’s the truth. She’s a clutch most accurate shooter from behind the arc.
CC was ranked 61st % wise from 3pt . CC takes more 3’a then any other player and is exciting, but nowhere near being the top percentage wise
Curry doesn't even have the highest percentage in the nba
