i am trying to assign data from GetStorage to a variable. the data is in the storage but I haven't been able to get it to show up in the variable I am assigning it to. Any reason for this?
Are you sure, Data is available in GetStorage, And for your kind infomation GetStorage is not permanent database, In case if your force stop or clear data, Data will be lost
@@ProtoCodersPoint yeah am sure there is data. Cos I can print what is in the box using .read method. I just can’t save it to variable so I can access other content within it. It’s just for saving user info while they are logged in. Intend for it to be erased once the user logs out
So since it was an array of data with maps within maps. I had to encodeJson it on write and decodeJson on read for it to work. For everyone experiencing same issue.
Bro ...you use statefull homePage widget in main.dart ...cant we use stateless widget insted...? because GetX is all about using stateless widget .....so that we can reduce memory load in our app and that's why app performs better...so I confused because initState() method cant be used without statefull widget...so please suggest me...

If u use getx , u don't need stateful widget anymore for state management
