They're happy to move in and begin making demands to make these countries like the lands they left. We need to learn that "NO" is a perfectly validate acceptable response. No other country that I know of just allows indigent people of unknown background to come take advantage of the social benefits that taxpaying citizens make possible. I know from experience that other countries (at least some) require evidence of income and savings to purchase a home, even if the plan is to reside there part time. No freeloaders would be welcome or tolerated. Western countries have every right to protect our culture and the societies that we and our forefathers have built. Visitors and immigrants should respect the culture of the lands they visit or intend to make their new homes. As it stands, these people are invading and demanding and soon our homelands will be no better than the countries that these people left. Why we're expected to be silent while these people shamelessly @bus€ our generosity is beyond me. We have every right to protect our home and our culture and have regulation in place, and to expect people to honor our laws and regulations.

As an Iranian living in Iran. Yes Iran is certainly not Iraq but Iran is still a failed state. Excessive bureaucracies, high corruption, lack of basic human rights and freedoms, destruction of culture, and the list goes on. Only reasons Iran is not a failed state is because of its immense natural resources including fossil fuels, the nationalization of oil by Mossadegh, the immense productivity and creativity of the Iranian people and the cultural and white revolutions that occurred under the Shah's reign. If the Islamist colonist left Iran today, Iran would become a powerhouse in no time.

I have worked in and served in many if not all the countries in Africa that you mention. They know very well the benefits that await them in Europe. They know they won't have to work, they know they won't be expelled, they know they'll get 3 square meals a day. France even decided to begin expelling asylum seekers that went back home for vacations.

Just adding a thought to Jake's point about Konstantin's rhetorical abilities...The key to Konstantin's use of humor as an effective tool might indeed be that humor is seductive as a means of disarming an unsuspecting third party (I doubt the debate opponent would find him amusing, haha). But the reason why he can legitimately claim the 'W' isn't because he's funny. It's the fact that his humor packs a robust argument within it. Without any validity to the content OF the humor, it would just be a cheap shot tactic to manipulate the audience, which would render it's agent guilty of a second lie. In any case, Konstantin is the MAN.

The key is one word, “discriminate”.

I just saw the figures on Australian immigration the other day. After labour said they’d cut back on it to ease the housing crisis, ensure a lower income tax rebate of 1k and be the champions of the average household we have got…
650k immigrants in the past 12 months (with wa getting the biggest piece of that pie, no wonder my rent went from $400 to $520 pw). He back flipped on the tax return, he raised the fuel tax by 30c per litre and on a personal note he cut 25% from veterans payments for those undergoing rehabilitation or retraining
I’ve gone through all my savings paying rent while doing my degree and now I’m not gonna see my kids this year cos they’re east coast and I’m west and I can’t afford flights
And I’m missing one day of uni per week because I can’t afford the fuel to make my classes everyday
