I've watch half a dozen videos on Las Catalinas, and this is by far the best - also the first to show the parking and trails. Well done. (though rather than speculate on rentals, you should have asked and overlaid the answer in editing.

When I hear people be surprised anything in Latin America feels like Europe I can't help to ask "WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IS???It's almost as if Latin America wasn't colonized by EUROPEANS!!! 🙄🙄
I totally understand what your saying and you make a lot of sense.
What I meant is that as a dual citizen of the US and Costa Rica, I was still surprised to see this kind of development in Guanacaste.
I’ve lived in Costa Rica for years and I wouldn’t say it’s normal to see a place like this around here.

Wait until you get to Mexico 😂😂 most of our viceroyal (incorrectly called “colonial”) cities are like European cities transporter to America! I recommend a lot of the cities in the Bajío region which has the most (Querétaro, Guanajuato, Morelia, Guadalajara, Los Altos de Jalisco, San Miguel de Allende, San Luis Potosí, etc…) but even when you enter Mexico say through Tapachula, you get to see stuff like this…even the German region called Nueva Alemania with the German houses where they still make amazing coffee!
There’s a place like this near Mexico City called Val’Quirico really close to the beautiful city of Puebla which is a town that resembles a Tuscan medieval town and it’s actually very well done! But nearby is a town called Chipilo which was founded by northern Italian immigrants in the 1800’s and they still speak the Veneto language there and make amazing food! They’re like my long distance cousins haha very affordable food and drinks and great people!
Mexico is a special place, counting down the days to get there! 💯

We already planned to go to Tapachula, Puebla and Mexico City but now I feel like I have to visit the Bajío region as well! 👀
@@AldoPaganiJr I mean…Mexico City is one of my favourite cities in the world with so much to do and see and eat…but Puebla is so beautiful and it’s surrounded by other beautiful towns (Cholula, Atlixco, Chipilo, Tlaxcala, etc…) and the Bajío is where I’m from (the city of Morelia) and it’s the most beautiful part of Mexico when it comes to architecture and people haha Los Altos de Jalisco being especially strong in those two last categories 😂😂 and there’s a somewhat new attraction in the Bajío which is the wine country that goes from Querétaro-Guanajuato-San Luis Potosi-Zacatecas-Aguascalientes-Jalisco and even north of Morelia…but the big three are Guanajuato, Querétaro and Aguascalientes outside the Guadalupe Valley near Ensenada in northern Mexico! Highly recommended. Just subscribed to your channel! Can’t wait to see the journey through Central America to get to Mexico! Tapachula should be interesting these days because of the migration crisis going on! So just be extra careful! But the Ruta del Cafe near Tapachula is highly recommended!
And of course Jalisco for the Tequila…but that’s a no brained 😂😂

Definitely not cheap! Keep in mind, this place is meant for tourists, you will see little to no locals here!
