If he’s referencing Werewolf, the song is literally homage to fuckin Micheal Jackson, there’s even a line that’s ripped straight from one of his songs. Like, I get what he’s saying, but he’s not the first person to do the werewolf shift.
Wonder what he'd think knowing how many Werewolf related things are in Powerwolfs songs and videos. Powerwolf even has Vampires which means that whole band must only copy him.

I usually agree with most of Ronnies points, but this is a rare Ronnie L. Miw didn’t steal the idea of werewolves from anyone, it’s a thing that’s been associated with Halloween forever. So many people have used a werewolf transformation in so many different things.
Don't forget also Werewolf is also a tribute for Michael Jackson
I thought the same. Also, when he said: "don't copy something new, just get inspired by something old.", I remembered that one bit from "Popular Monster", that clearly got inspired by CorpseHusband. When that came to my mind, I couldn't take him really seriously on this topic anymore. Also, it is actually an honor to get copied. He shouldn't be so hard on people in my opinion. I know he said, it is not flattering to him, just annyoing, but when he did the Rap Parts for "Watch the World Burn", he also clearly copied his favorite Rappers and even if those original tracks, he copied from, were old, the artists are still alive and working on music and he never thought about, if they would get annoyed with him for copying ^^" There was actually a debate online, if the Eminem-like super fast spit has been okay to do, or if it was too close to the original. Just saying. He also said: "There is a fine line between getting inspired and copying someone." I actually agree with that, which makes it so hard to spot the difference. He seems to just choose, when one or the other term fits for him and his opinion the best. No hate on Ronnie, but in my opinion, he missed the mark by a lot on this topic.

Met Ronnie in 2007 in the airport In Milwaukee. I was flying to Vegas for my 21 birthday and he had some business to attend back in Vegas while he was on tour in chi. Super chill. When we took off it was my first time on a plane and i remember him looking back at me with his hands in the air lol. He probably don’t remember but it’s all good, never made it to the hard rock my man.

yea right around Ice Nine’s last album came out with the movie stuff, zombiefied came out and had that theater voice stuff.. and i was like, ‘damn why are the 2 bands im listening to right now have this theater voice movie shit going on?!’ hehe! i didnt know they both use or had the same directors and shit.. isnt that also on the director who does the same shit for different bands too?! uncool.. but FiR’s movie voice was less, so i liked it more.. lol.. hell Ice Nine did a whole album with that shit in it..

Yeah, but it's not the first time they do rip-off things. Especially recently. In that song the chorus sounds very similar to thousand-foot krutch song (I don't remember which one, but I know there was a song that had identical chorus) and the lyrics are similar. Masterpiece is straight up rip-off of breaking benjamin's never again. They go from ripping off somewhat Christian band to full on Christian band.

I was young and dumb listening to what everyone else was saying about you and Falling In Reverse. I was a stupid kid in the Metal scene and wasn’t thinking for myself. Long story short I was addicted to heroin for years and it lead me to doing some prison time. That’s where this young kid introduced me to your music. I was hooked. Just everything you say in your songs seems so much more relatable, than everyone else. That’s the whole reason I am writing this to thank you again for one more thing: I am coming up on 7 years heroin free, and your music has helped me multiple times to make it through that moment. @@ilexmortisligaming they aint bad. Pretty good views. Can't blame ronnie for feeling the way he does though. He has generated close to 250 million views with just singles in 4 years. Not bad for a rock band with a lead singer that everyone loves to hate. Id feel the same way if other bands hired previous producers but at the same time ronnie created something fresh and everyone wants to stay ahead of the curve. Ronnie is just ronnie. Whether anything is intentional or not. Video quality, the name of the song itself and how much work and effort you put into a project is key. I believe ronnie is opening up doors and most definatley inspiring other bands to keep it fresh

Right don't get me wrong love him and all that great music and his vids are fire but the band bullet for my valentin also has a werewolf transformation in their vid waking the demon and this was waaaaaaaaaayyyy waaaaayyyy before all of them lol
It feels like people have gassed Ronnie up so much that he has started to believe he is this super creative visionary.
Like don't get me wrong, he's phenomenally talented but he seems to think he's created everything he's ever done and anyone else that does something similar is ripping him off. Like when I Prevail did a reimagined version of one of their songs, Ronnie complained that they're taking his idea of doing a different rendition off their own song.
He also tries to justify himself doing things that others have done by saying he was "inspired" by them, whereas others are just copying him. Blatantly copying someone would mean it's the same product with minor changes.. Motionless' song is about being love with a person who has an entirely different, yet vicious side to them.. they song is literally called "Warewolf". It can't not have a Warewolf in it.. what did Ronnie expect? Just having the Warewolf, doesn't make it a rip off. Hell, it does a better job at ripping off Michael Jackson, but it makes it very clear that the music video is a homage to Thriller. Ronnie needs to wind his neck in.
So disappointing seeing ronnie act like this, I love FIR but MIW is my favorite band so I'm not a fan of ronnie saying that MIW is copying him when it's clearly not the case. Song sounds nothing like his and the video is nothing like his as well, makes 0 sense.

I'm sorry but honestly I can see why a lot of people dislike Ronnie. I'm a massive Falling In Reverse fan (even after watching this video) but, bro, calm down. FIR is pretty big, sure, but that doesn't mean literally everyone knows who you are. If someone makes a song that's similar to yours and then when they get called out for copying they respond they didn't know you did that thing or maybe, and get this, they don't know who you are then they didn't fucking copy you. But let's say they did "copy" you. So what? Music's existed as long as humans have so it's bound to repeat itself from time to time.

I love your music, but gotta tell ya man, MIW did not copy you on Werewolf. They may have hired the same producer/director you use, but that does not mean they copied you. Werewolf leaned more towards Michael Jackson's Thriller than your Popular Monster. The song even refrences Michael Jackson with the lyrics "I feel like, somebody's watching me", and "Moonwalking can't feed the appetite". I get where you feel they copied you using the same producer/director as you for the video and a little bit lyrically in the song where Chris says "I can't tell where you end and where I start. A ferocious diagnosis under moonlit hands, will the man become the monster or the monster become man" and you are allowed to feel that way but in your moment of feeling that, you forgot that's how the business works. It's not like Disney where the producers/Directors are contractually obligated to work only for certain artists. That being said I am excited to see what you do next. I can't even imagine how awesome whatever you have planned is going to be.

6:20 He's right, it wasn't Enter Shikari. It wasn't Underoath either. It was Refused. Especially with The Shape of Punk to Come. That album changed music and influenced so many bands, including Enter Shikari and Underoath. The Used is another good example. The first song The Used ever wrote "Maybe Memories" was influenced by "New Noise" and The Used would even pay homage when playing it live by adding in a part of New Noise.

The whole black out tattoos started gaining popularity around 2012-ish. Ronnie being mad at anyone with "Black out" on stage (whether it be Tats or Paint) is just an ego trip. For example - MIW was wearing black paint to black out their necks and arms in 2010.
Also, The Werewolf music video done by MIW was a callback to Michael Jackson's Thriller (where MJ even transformed to a werewolf) for the 40th anniversary.
I Prevail used the same video producer....I dont see what the big deal is there... And they had a Reimagined version of Hurricane that came out a month later. It takes a while to get songs out. It's very possible that they created it prior to Drug in me is reimagined and had a release date scheduled that happened to be after your release. (Not saying that is how it happened, but its always a possibility)
To blatantly just come out and claim these bands are copying you and taking your "creative genius" (for lack of a better phrase) is just an ego trip. I guess if we want to play that game, we can just make a bold claim that FIR's "Im not a vampire ReVamped" (Video wise) is very similar to Meatloaf's "I would do anything for love"
